I had surgery with Dr.Seiff on The ending of May 2022 for ptosis eye repair and I have to say him and his staff did an amazing job consulting me going over the procedure and were very attentive and nice and you can truly feel the way they care for their patients . I’m so happy I went with him for my ptosis eye repair cause I gained my confidence back and now I’m not feeling self conscious about one eye being droopy . Thank you so much for making me eye look even like my other one. I’m pleased with my result . 😊

I went to my Optometrist completely freaked out because I kept seeing gray shadows like something was floating above my eyes. I knew this could be a symptom of Macular Degeneration or detached retina, rightly so I was in a complete panic. She gave me an exam and informed me that what I was seeing was my eyelashes (yeah go ahead snicker and laugh). Apparently because my eyelids are heavily hooded they have started with age and weight loss to droop pushing my eyelashes into my line of sight and also into the inner corner of my eyes causing irritation. She recommended Dr Seiff and off I went. I was able to make an appointment that same week. I was seen with in 3 minutes of walking into the office and my appointment lasted nearly 45 minutes. All my options were reviewed .... well the only option was reviewed, surgery. I was told there was a possibility the surgery would be covered by my health insurance as the procedure is in my case medically necessary. I was walked through the steps I needed to take and what tests needed to be performed in order to submit to my carrier for preauthorization. Got the tests done everything was submitted and BOOM approved! The only caveat is I have to wait until early August to have the procedure (I am actually okay with waiting given I will only be paying the copay and not 6k). Personally I liked Dr Seiff. He is no nonsense and he will tell you what is scientific fact and medically sound. I saw the negative reviews and its sad when people get upset over their picture being taken (standard practice in all surgical assessments concerning the augmentation of the face or body). Questions about past Botox or Filler use is relevant and not intended to insult. He asks in order to get a clear and concise idea of what the surgery may entail. Claiming to be traumatized over a pic and a couple of questions tells me you need way more than what an Ophthalmologist can provide. Lastly, every Yelp I read about a Dr there is always that one guy who whines about having to wait and the Dr not being on time with the appointment. SHHHHtuff happens dude. One time when my Grandmother woke up seeing shadows (its hereditary hence my panic) and she felt tremendous pain and pressure in one of her eyes. she kept saying she was seeing stuff floating...like dust. I immediately called her ophthalmologist who without hesitation moved around his schedule so I could bring her in. Unfortunately she lost almost 60% of her vision that day, but without treatment she would have been 100% blind. Sometimes Dr's run late because they are caring for someone who needs them more than you do at that very moment. I will update post op. Stay tuned.

I like this doc. He was no "b.s" and graduate from UCSF. People might think he is cocky but he got the work done and that's all I cared about. I had a cyst on my eyelid, he did it right on the spot. Whereas when I went to Peninsula Ophthalmology (inside 1720 El Camino Real Burlingame, they wanted me to see an eye surgeon.

Listen, i think this Man maybe biased and/or racist. I didn't know then, but I later learned, afterwards unfortunately; that CT scans causes heavy radiation damage. which causes damaged DNA. Which leads to many problems, etc,etc,. This man immediately sent me off to get a CT scan without even informing me of any information/hazards. Especially, being my eye/orbit area--which is my brain region receiving the damage. The worst part is, what I was being seen for , didn't even warrant a CT. I'm now aware that he just didn't Gaf about my health whatsoever. No doctor should do shit like this, but they do. He never even mentioned facts about 'how I should intake plenty of antioxidants afterwards, blueberries, etc'. Because he didn't care at all. :-(encounters like this is what drives people to early deaths. so Sad. That Oath seems to have lost it's value, a long time ago.

I have known Dr. Seiff for a long time now. I felt it was time (well overdue) for posting a noble and stellar acknowledgment of you and your team, who feel like family to me at this point! Dr. Seiff is able to clinically and professionally assess and diagnose, offering best outcomes. He changed my life. I was so thrilled with what he did and how great the result was. I liked him the moment I met him. His team is.... extraordinary. I refer to them as "Charie's angels". Except they're Dr. Seiff's angels. The level of integrity, personal touch, follow-up and expertise created by them all, is truly memorable and very appreciated.To Dr. Seiff: I would go nowhere else. I only came here because I was referred by my ophthalmologist. Like many reviewers have mentioned, he seems arrogant and a bit condescending. He couldn't help me anyway and referred me back to my other oculoplastic surgeon. Some good things are that his examination is thorough and he documents everything.
