I can't say enough good things about Dr. Lee Char! She is caring, extremely talented, explains things clearly and thoroughly - and though I had to have surgery, she finessed the incisions so that there's no evidence of scars. She was also extremely kind, patient and caring when I brought in my 96-year old mom, who has dementia, for a consultation.

Dr. Lee Char is a gifted and empathic doctor and I feel fortunate to have had her as my surgeon. She spent a GREAT deal of time discussing my case and options in my initial office visit and in MULTIPLE phone calls and online communications before AND after my surgery. She did a fantastic job on my surgery and got my tumor out with clear margins and no complications. She helped expedite getting my tumor sent for Oncotyping when my other doctor was on vacation (saving me valuable time). She was very helpful in suggesting and referring me to additional doctors for second opinions. She has continued to stay in touch (even though I am 6 weeks post op) to ensure that I have the information I need to move forward. I would recommend her to anyone going through this scary diagnosis. She seems great to me. I had exams with discussion, no surgery thank G-d. Very patient, gentle, good communicator.

But, Dr. Lee Char personally answered my concerns and questions by phone. She made me feel connected to the process that was unfamiliar and scary. She is completely caring and dedicated to her patients, and she did a beautiful job on my mastectomy, leaving my skin alive and ready for an implant. The best.
