The Appearance Care Center's Online Review Report Card

For IPL I have always been satisfied. Their machines are newer so results are great and the pricing is reasonable!

I have been driving from Granite Bay (3 hours) for 10 years to go to this center. Clear and Brilliant and all injectables. Dr. Maas just did my lips and they came out perfect (not overdone) I didn't have to hide for days, he has been doing my injectables for 10 years and always natural!! These pics are 2 days after! I am 63 years old so want to look natural not overdone!

Treatment surprises, poor results, and unprofessional conduct = avoid this place. Then here's the red flags that ended it: My last botox session started with me saying I wanted exactly the same as last time. Half way through a botox treatment, my injector Danielle shared she was attempting a brand new technique in new areas with new amounts that she just learned at a conference in Paris. I wasn't asked if I wanted to be a guinea pig. I said I wanted the same and got something new without consent! That made me feel deeply uncomfortable, and two weeks later the results looked different from any time before and *deeply worse than no treatment* at all. RED FLAG: Surprising a client who asked for the same as last time with a newly learned treatment technique the injector wants to practice! (My husband and I both went here, and after a "please ask before attempting new techniques on our faces without us knowing" we planned to return a final time to see if there could be trust moving forward.) I also asked to see my session photos for my visits to compare my face before and after treatment. The receptionist said "sure" a few times until over a week later eventually texting "this is my first priority, but it would actually take me a full hour of uninterrupted time at work to do, and I'm busy a lot now so I don't know when or if it could happen." RED FLAG: Clients do not have a way to view their dated session photos despite being told they do initially! At our next apt. (husband and I), I shared how those texts going from "sure" to "basically never" made me feel uncomfortable, and asked to use my phone for photos going forward (or take one on their iPad for their internal system and one on my phone) so I'd have a copy of my session photos. The receptionist *immediately left the room to get managers (plural!).* We left for good as the managers walked in because the environment was so deeply unprofessional.

I would first like to start out by saying, the people that work at this establishment are very thorough and extremely professional. Each appointment has been stress free and easy going. Not only have the people been wonderful but I have seen some great results! A huge shout out to Courtney, Jackie and Sydney for helping me look my best and being wonderful! I would like to give a shout out to Ali who runs the front desk. She always has a beautiful smile on her face and makes it's so easy setting up future appointments and receiving before and after photos. She is very inviting and makes the initial process very warm and soothing. Thank you all!

These girls always take such good care of me. I have been a customer for years now and love that they keep me up to date with all the new services. My botox is always on point and my new obsession is the scarlet treatment. Thank you Alison, Sydney and Tina!!

I had the most incredible first experience at Appearance Care Center for my lip filler appointment. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Ali, who immediately made me feel at ease. She took the time to explain the entire process and totally calmed my nerves before the treatment. Danielle and Jackie, who administered the procedure, were equally amazing. They were attentive and throughly explained the procedure every step of the way. Ive had lip filler once before but this expirenece beyond exceeded my expectations- I barely bruised or swelled and could go to work immediately after. The results completely exceeded my expectations. Thank you all for a wonderful experience--I will 100% be coming back

It's always a pleasure to be greeted by the receptionist, Ali, who takes my before and after pics, gets me numb and comfortable and goes over my treatments plan. Danielle does it all! I have been smoothed, tightened and lifted by her experienced, professional and gentle hands. I would recommend anyone to visit for a consultation and treatment. They also offer very competitive package pricing.

I came to the appearance care center for my first laser treatment, clear + brilliant. I was a little nervous about the pain level, I didn’t know what to expect. Alison, the receptionist was so welcoming and got me prepped for the treatment. She was so sweet and answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Courtney was my provider and also so sweet and professional. She talked me through everything she was going to do and was super informative about the treatment and also answered some questions that I had after. I was surprised there was almost no discomfort from the treatment and I got great results! Loved all the ladies here and absolutely recommend… 10/10 experience!

(husband and I had good results before, so after a “please ask before attempting new techniques” we planned to return.) I also asked to see my session photos. The receptionist Ali said “sure” a few times until texting “this is my first priority, but it would take me an hour of uninterrupted work to do, and I’m busy.” At our next apt. I said those texts made me uncomfortable, and asked to use my phone for photos (or take one on the iPad and one on my phone) so I’d have a copy. The receptionist started crying and left the room to get managers. Plural. Her making me uncomfortable made her break down. Wow. The injector also looked like she’d been crying (bloodshot teary eyes and shaking hands) before we came in, so much so that my husband asked if she was okay. We left as the managers arrived because it was too intense and emotional and unprofessional to stay.
