Dr Chi Urologist UCSF I consider myself lucky to have found Dr Chi. I was told by my local doctor that I had BPH. He told me that the TURP procedure would work well for me. I ran into an older gentleman who told me about a procedure called HoLEP that he was having. So, I decided to investigate the alternative to TURP. I started looking North of me for doctors at UCSF. I picked Dr Chi from a list of urologists and started studying and reading about him. From what I read, I was very impressed. I listened to an interview that I found that he had done 4 years prior that impressed me very much! So from what I read and heard, I decided that he was the right doctor for me. I never met him in person because all my symptoms were already diagnosed. On our Zoom call, he said he had everything he needed, so I scheduled the surgery with him over the meeting. I had my surgery 5 days ago, and so far everything is better than I could have ever imagined! The anesthesiologist, Dr Matthias Braehler was fantastic!

If i would be able to rate dr. Chi more than 5 star i would. He is the most attentive and caring doctor ever

I was kept waiting for close to 2 hours, Dr Chi barely apologized and spent less than 5 minutes with me. No examination whatsoever, he just ordained a number of additional exams, without even discussing the risks associated with them. Really unacceptable experience!
