Dr. Dovey traumatized me for life before she left Colorado for California. I am a nurse, my husband is a surgeon. We knew there was a problem a few weeks after my miscarriage (that she recommended I induced with medication after we lost the heart beat). She and her staff neglected my emails, phone calls and intra-app messaging. I ended up in my hospitals ER septic, needing emergency surgery in the OR I worked in, and then admitted bc of how incredibly sick I was. The surgeon told me if I hadn't taken matters into my own hands I would have lost my uterus. I was able to find a competent doctor after all of this and now I have a beautiful son with another due in 2 weeks. Take your time and research this woman. She is absolutely awful. Bedside manner is always a plus, but I'd rather a competent physician than a nice one. This woman almost cost me my uterus.

Dr. Dovey was fantastic to work with. Though the wait time, at times, was long, she was compassionate, understanding, and took the time to explain everything to me. She drew diagrams and helped me to understand complex subject matters. Her follow-up was excellent - she was easy to reach and quickly responded to my messages. She went above and beyond to address questions that I had outside of her direct specialty. Dr. Dovey has a good ability to connect with her patients on a personal level, while still maintaining professionalism and credibility. Highly recommend.
