Timmy has a very intuitive touch. he can always find the exact point that is hurting. and i always feel well taken care of during visits. i recognise the benefits of acupuncture but ive been terrified of needles — love that’s he’s been working with me to get used to them (as it’s working!).

Highly recommend visiting Timmy! I came in for my first time and he calmly walked me through everything and answered all my questions. I felt like he took the time to get to know me, actually address my concerns, and he made me feel comfortable and safe. I didn’t feel like he was trying to over sell anything either. Tim has been treating me for the past two years and is the only acupuncturist I've seen (and I've seen many) who's been able to unlock and resolve my decades-long chronic pain. He's attentive, listens to your problems, and also generally has good intuition on the best path for treatment. I've accepted for a long time that maybe living in pain was just something I'd be stuck with for the rest of my life, but with his treatments I'm getting genuine relief and now I even have days where I have *no* pain at all. The office is located in a clean and quiet area and the vibe inside is relaxing. Tim handles everything himself like insurance and payments and it's been a really painless process from the patient end. He's also all-around a good human and it's been awesome working with him. Highly recommend!

Dr. Tran helped me recover from a climbing accident. He has deep empathy for how hard it is both mentally and physically when your injury keeps you from your passion and sense of wellness. He provided excellent information on how to get back out and even become stronger than before. As a climber himself, he understands how the body works and how to rehab it. I highly recommend him for anyone but he if you are any kind of active person, he gets it!

I found out that I have Bakers Cyst on my let knee. I don't want to continue getting cortisone shots every three months. I have seen the difference with the acupuncture. There is no swelling and I can continue exercising. Thank you!

Timmy made me a believer in acupuncture. I had gone to a few others but no other place helped my back shoulder pain. Timmy is a wizard and has been able to sort me out multiple times. Won’t waste my money going to another place!

This man works magic. Unlike other acupuncturists who stick a few needles in and walk away to treat 4 other patients, Timmy gives you an intensive 1-on-1 treatment that works out knots like you wouldn’t believe. It’s the only thing that fixes my back when I have a flare-up.

It's taken 2.5 years to write this review but anyone who knows me IRL has heard me give glowing reviews of "my acupuncturist, Timmy". I started to see him for chronic pain in my abdomen and for bicep tendonitis in early 2021. Now I see him for whatever comes up, including endometriosis symptoms and tension headaches. Timmy has excellent bedside manner and takes the time to listen so he can understand what I'm experiencing before starting treatment. His new location is excellent and I look forward to continue as his patient.

I'm serious when I say that I'm a believer now. I've always been skeptical about acupuncture, but I was thoroughly impressed by Dr. Tran's work and skills. His ability to explain the process, how the needles work and how I can continue to heal practicing exercises at home was so clear and helped me fix my muscle knots in my arm. He made the process so easy and his calming presence was a bonus. He's not someone who tries to sell you a bunch of things but only provides his genuine recommendation and support to truly heal your issues at the root! Such a good experience for me since I've tried others and wasn't that impressed. Thanks for giving me movement back into my arm!

I came to San Fran with a horrible sports injury. Timmy went out of his way to accommodate my schedule to help me. He diagnosed and treated me properly. He knows what he’s doing with the needles and used techniques to quickly heal my injured muscle. He’s very in-tune to muscular structure and spent time analyzing my injured muscle to use the needles effectively. He also incorporated electro-nodes to speed up recovery. I was able to walk better upon leaving and felt the muscle relax and pain melt away by the evening. I am so grateful for his care.
