The good? The bad...and the irresponsible! I have way too many examples of Dr. Evans' lack of professionalism. But now I am done with trusting her and just hoping for the best, This is embarrassing to admit that, as a nurse, I wasn't smarter or proactive. She spends brief time with you, up-sells products and treatments, and when there is a problem with her work - NEVER returns your call. She thinks the office staff (very sweet but not clinicians) are qualified to discuss and advise you on medical concerns. Still I remained loyal and have seen her over the years for skin checks and minor procedures. One example? The good - she made an early diagnosis of a melanoma on my arm. I am glad she is aggressive with biopsies (though her physician assistant thinks too aggressive - and I've had lots of negative ones). The bad - you should see my botched scar. If I wasn't so old I'd be more upset. The irresponsible - she used suture materials that she "thought" I might have had sensitivity to. I had an infection, months of healing and overall a terrible result. Here's the straw that broke my heart and the relationship with her ... I should post a picture from yesterday of my latest bad experience. Simple Botox - which she's done before. Yikes. She hit, a vessel under one eye leaving lumps and bruises, (yes, already). But that's not the worst - the vision in my other eye is blurred. All day today I called the office asking to speak with Dr. Evans or a clinician. Nope. No follow-up and my vision worsened (no call from her yet). No follow up? Not like any doctor I know. Finally I got a staff to demand a Rx (unavailable for days) to help with the medical condition. Still - thank goodness I have an ophthalmologist I can count on.So, if you want a mediocre, expensive spa treatment - not a bad place - very fancy and she's just expanded her Corte Madera office - mega bucks! But if you want a good MD who actually practices medicine safely - run!

I see Clarence for my quarterly Botox treatments and he is always very thorough with where I need it and why. He has a very gentle touch and my results always look natural. My friends are always asking how I look so well rested with a 1 year old and I tell them it's because of him!

Terrible attitude very pretentious and just tries to push products on her patients.

More about selling products and procedures than listening to what patients want or need. Was kept waiting in exam/procedure room after initial meeting for more than 2 hours while treating others. Finally walked out with no explanation! RUDE!

Dr Evan's has been treating my various dermatological issues for several years. Every visit is met with professionalism and complete confidence with what I present. When I needed further diagnosis she was quick to refer me to a specialist. Dr Evans has made herself available on a few occasions after hours to discuss my emergent needs.
