Tracy B. Evans's Online Review Report Card

I've called for appointments with Dr Evans a few times over the last several years, but always get an appointment with an assistant instead so it may look like I've been a patient of hers for a while but we've never met. In the beginning that was ok because her nurse practitioner was great. She's no longer there and this past summer I saw a young woman named Crystal. I had a couple of 3D moles... Crystal said she's burn them and they'd fall off. They're still there. (and now a larger brown circle surrounds them) I had an area of broken capillaries on my face and was charged $200 to have them lasered away... the red spot on my face is still there... smaller, but still there. I paid another $50 to have a couple of "age spots" lasered away... they're still there. My search for a dermatologist continues because this was a waste of time and money. (and don't forget to bring extra for parking)

Don't go here. I overhead the staff training a new employee say to try and not take "poor Medi-Cal patients" since they don't make money from them when that patient was literally there in the waiting room. Staff is uncultured and downright rude. Lead staff at the counter has a terrible attitude and was overall just a horrible experience.  Physician was unsurprisingly condescending. Don't waste your time and money at this dermatologist. The physician and staff could use a lesson or two on how to become more cultured and kind.

I was in desperate need of a quick remedy to extract my pores and hydrate my face. Mallory recommended the hydrafacial treatment for me. The whole treatment was quick, only taking about 30 minutes, and very affordable with NO down time! Mallory was an absolute gem! Prior to the treatment, she explained the process and made sure I was comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr. Evans team at Pacific Skin Dermatology. Can't wait for my next treatment!

If you are looking to be sold product you don't need and enhancements you don't want this is the place to go. If you want a doctor that acts like a doctor, even if you are looking for a cosmetic fix, go elsewhere. Tracy doesn't hear a thing you say and has one of her staff come into the exam room to ask for payment before she does anything. REALLY?

Mallory is a hydrafacial genius! Been going here for two years and have loved every treatment. Definitely worth the money and my skin has improved tremendously (as somebody that's had stubborn acne problems in the past). The team is also super fun and welcoming, I love them. Shout out to Clarence and his botox wizardry as well. My wrinkle-free forehead thanks you.

I see Clarence for my quarterly Botox treatments and he is always very thorough with where I need it and why. He has a very gentle touch and my results always look natural. My friends are always asking how I look so well rested with a 1 year old and I tell them it's because of him!

Terrible attitude very pretentious and just tries to push products on her patients.

More about selling products and procedures than listening to what patients want or need. Was kept waiting in exam/procedure room after initial meeting for more than 2 hours while treating others. Finally walked out with no explanation! RUDE!

Before even hearing what I was interested in Dr. Evan's started selling me "custom" products for issues I don't have and then while waiting for a procedure the P.A. came in with the products to continue the pitch. Waiting, did I say waiting? I was kept waiting so long with no mention of why or when the doctor would be back to give preform a pricy and out of pocket procedure that I finally up and left.

Update 5 days post appointment still NO resolution BEWARE of this office they are only interested in your money: I have been passed around to various managers who have called ME and assistants who've tried to argue with me about what a complete consult means but have not resolved this issue. As far as the hyperpigmentation issue I originally came into discuss with Dr. Evans where she barely looked at my face and told me I probably didn't have melasma. It has now evolved into a raised irregular bump that I need to have evaluated by a more competent dermatologist to rule out melanoma. I am SIMPLY asking for the $200 charge that I did NOT authorize for the incomplete 10 min consult I received from Dr. Evans. Trying to bombard me with more skin care products to buy and telling me to get laser therapy with no thorough exam and no treatment plan is not a consultation. Certainly NOT a $200 one.Update to today 6 days later: I FINALLY received a call that my consult fee will be reversed in the form of a refund. After speaking with 4 different managers and having a "skincare concierge" call me and try to again sell me the clear and brilliant treatment while ignoring my issue and request for my consult fee to be returned. I was SO frustrated I told them I was going to come by the office in person to speak to Dr. Evans they then offered to give my consult fee back. To add insult to injury as a final tactic they made sure to try and shame me over the phone. I understand how they are running the business to only sell products and procedures and not willing to take the time to give a full consult while charging a large fee. This is unacceptable for a Medical doctor. I'm sure they get away with giving many clients the runaround and shaming them into over paying but I can't stress to you enough that I am NOT the one.
