Do not go here unless you're ready to pay $800-900 for a basic routine visit. This place is in-network, but I was charged $900 for a quick exam and my insurance only covered $80. When you call the billing department, you're sent to a dead end in their phone system. I was finally given the contact info of the billing manager and left him multiple voicemails but he never returned my calls. Stay away!

Occasionally I need what's known as "mohs" surgery because of a tendency for my skin to show areas of skin cancer. This was the first place I received this treatment, though UCSF has other locations too, and everything went smoothly. There was a teacher and students involved, everyone was friendly and they made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. Even the minor scaring necessary never seems to draw anyone's attention when I go about my normal business.

What went well was that they listened to me! They switched to a different medicine. So I hope this medicine works

Dr. Raymond Cho is an outstanding, highly trained and knowledgeable dermatologist who is thorough and kind with his patients. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a good outcome with their skin issues.

if you have plenty of time to wait for your appointment to start, go for it. I have never seen wait times like this for a professional clinic. It's extremely frustrating.

I was not informed of any delays. We left my child's school and left my own work early to arrive on time at 3:45 pm and then waited for 65 minutes to be seen. The doctor said that at the end of the day that can happen without much understanding of the impact on the patient. There is a sign on the wall that says "if you've been waiting more than 30 minutes let's us know" so this indicates it's a common enough occurrence to have created this permanent plaque. I've never waited this long at UCSF. It would have been helpful to have contact in advance of the appointment to avoid rushing to arrive on time if they knew in advance how behind the doctor was in her schedule for the day. The actual appointment was great, felt listened to thorough, likely what led to the accumulated delay by the time we were seen, as my daughter was her last patient of the day. I replied to a experience survey that they should schedule fewer longer appointments if they are expecting to provide that type of detailed care.

Scheduling here is nonsense. As a returning patient with an immediate concern was told if I wanted timely care to go somewhere else.

Now we have conflicting information!! Three months ago I'm told the reason the physician was no longer offering appointments to current patients was due to the fact that she failed to clear something in the computer, now it's due to a death in her family. What does not make sense is if she had a death in her family then why wouldn't staff reroute patients to another physician, or at least notify patients and offer them options...it makes no sense whatsoever. I worked in a doctors office and if she was going to be out for an extended time, she made certain her patients had continuity of care. If true....RIP to her family member, my deepest sympathies.

Amazing experience at this clinic. I got checked in right when I walked in. A medical assistant greeted me and took me to the exam room after 2 minutes. Dr. Neuhaus was very kind and patient. Overall amazing, friendly staff and clean facility.
