Dr. Zimel is a wonderful, wonderful, and caring physician and suregeon.
Check in process was very efficient. Patient locator device is state of the art. My doctor, Dr Murray was on-time and great in advising me on my issues and providing explanations
Dr.Murray is very professional and caring. The team there can make a world of difference. No other Doctors knew how to help my granddaughter. I recommend them completely. Greatly thankful.
came in for an appointment for my father. appointment was at 145, we got roomed around 150-2pm and no one came in to speak with us until 3-315.
Nice People And Doctors
Dr Murray is AMAZING. I was a bit nervous about my son being seen at a cancer clinic and my anxiety was on a level 10. Dr Murray assured me that everything would be fine with my son and with her friendliness, professionalism, and medical knowledge I was able to relax and listen attentively to her medical advice regarding my son. I never felt rushed during the visit; she was patient with us and answered our questions and made my son laugh a few times through his visit. I like SF Children’s Hospital!
I have had two visits at SF Children’s Hospital and I can say the medical staff made the visit comfortable with their professionalism, and concern shown to me and my son. A great place to take your child for medical treatment/advice.
From the first conversation with Sherry the staff was wonderful. The medical personnel was knowledgeable and friendly. The doctor explained everything that was happening along the way. She was extremely attentive and listened to my concerns. Her assistants were great as well.
It was a great experience and I have faith in Dr. Murray she was amazing and listened to my complicated story. All of the other staff was great too I finally feel like im going to get my problem resolved. Truly a positive professional caring group of people. And my prayers are with everyone that is going through these difficult medical issues
I was diagnosed with with a very aggressive cancer and had to have my right leg amputated. My experience at UCSF Orthopedic Surgical Oncology Clinic has from day one been exemplary. Every one I've encountered there has been the great. My Surgeon, Dr. Zimel is extraordinary gifted . She literally saved my life. I truly believe had I been treated by anyone else I literally would have given up. Opting not to have the surgery. The fact that she offered to perform a split knee amputation which allows me to be fitted for a prosthetic leg with the ability to function at a level where my quality of life will be greatly enhanced made the decision to have the Surgery easy. I have family members that have struggled with cancer and the effects of kemo and radiation and seeing the effects on their lives has been heartbreaking. The thought of the struggle that lay ahead after an above knee amputation was simply not an option. Dr. Zimel and her team have been absolutely incredible every step of the way . When I was released to a "skilled" nursing physical therapy facility I contracted MRSA and was septic when finally transferred to a hospital then back to UCSF. Dr Zimel and her team were tremendous. I cannot come close to expressing how truly wonderful they have been and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking the best possible Care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
