Ucsf Pediatric Dermatology's Online Review Report Card

I brought up an issue of blue light sensitivity and Dr. Sarah Coates deemed me a conspiracy theorist for it. She went as far as printing out personal vaccination history that had nothing to do with the appointment after the appointment was over. There was nothing there to support her suspicion, but I remain curious about her plan was if I were in fact an anti-vaxxer. When I followed up about her reasoning, she said it was a "glitch" and then pretended to not know what I was talking about regarding her microaggressions and wildly dismissive conclusion. Some some glitch that prints out unrelated medical information? She made no attempt to hide how dumb she though I was, when in fact, the dumbest thing about all this, is that there is a doctor on the UCSF staff unfamiliar with the detriments of blue light.

Nice place to visit. Worked well for me.

One very condescending male receptionist. I asked a few simple questions, such as whether our name had been called while I was away from the front desk, and instead received a lengthy lecture about wait times…as if I had asked why things were taking so long. There was also a misunderstanding about our follow-up appointment, which he corrected in an unnecessarily rude and condescending manner, saying, ‘I was right,’ and explaining it in a way that felt dismissive rather than helpful. The other receptionists, residents and doctors, however, were excellent—professional, kind, and attentive.
