Vivian is a magic worker and has given me the (easy, non-reactive) skin of my dreams! And she’s an absolutely wonderful person and highly skilled aesthetician. Come for the Biologique Recherche facial, stay for Vivian’s unique skin magic! When I came to her years ago, my skin was fine, but super sensitive and would break out or get aggravated easily. Not only did Vivian hone in on what was going on - in non-judgmental and kind way - she helped me get to the root of it and rebuild my skin barrier. (All these “skin barrier” creams and products are not going to help you build a healthy skin barrier, that’s for sure!) Good skin comes with taking the time to invest in a regular relationship with a skilled aesthetician like Vivian. Even though my skin is very happy now and far less reactive (let’s be real, I get compliments on my skin all the time, not a humble brag!!), I still see my regular facials with Vivian as essential. They act as check-ins for what’s going on with my larger system (skin is the biggest organ after all!!) From seeing Vivian consistently, she can take one look and see what’s going on, what my skin needs, what might be affecting it (new supplements! stress! too many products!) and help me get back on track to easy good skin. We now giggle when there aren’t any extractions needed (…old me could never have dreamed a day!!) And, most importantly, when I walk out of her beautiful studio in the Flood Building - without fail - I feel like a new woman and my skin looks incredible. Vivian at Vivie Beauty was helpful and gave me her honest opinion when I asked her for recommendations about what products will work for my seborrheic keratosis skin and if she knew an establishment that removes skin tags on my skin/neck area. She told me no skin care products will work for my skin condition but recommended I consult with a dermatologist to see what they could do for me. I then told her I would continue using BR products as I felt it worked best for my skin. She then said it is backed by research and science and the longer I use BR products the better and healthier my skin will look. So I highly appreciated that she took the time and effort to give me her honest opinion and recommendation. Until this day I will purchase BR products from Vivian and be a loyal customer of hers as she is very knowledgeable and understanding and goes above and beyond to ensure her clients are satisfied. I really liked the facial itself... but the experience overall isn't great. I've booked two appointments- she was late for the first one and never showed for the second. I feel like it's one thing if you can wait in a waiting room - but you are locked outside her salon door in a huge office building with no seating or anything. You can't access bathrooms cause they require a key. The time when she didnt show up- she called after I texted her a few times and said it was a scheduling error. It's just disappointing going all the way there and finding out after 20 mins of waiting she's not coming at all- that was an hour of my day wasted on commuting and waiting. This is not the place to go if you want a relaxing experience

I recently had a facial at this establishment, which I chose specifically because I saw that the owner used the BR products I wanted. However, I wasn’t walked through the steps during the facial, and it wasn’t until the end—when I asked—that I realized the BR products I had mentioned wanting to try at the beginning weren’t used. Following the facial, I noticed remnants of the masks on the back of my ears and in my hair, which I’m not accustomed to after facials. Additionally, I didn’t experience the noticeable improvement in my skin that I typically expect. When the next customer arrived, I was left in the room without a heads-up to get changed and meet the owner out front, which felt a bit abrupt. After waiting for a while, I eventually came out on my own and hastily checked out. Disappointing experience.
