List of Wenwu Jin, Md's Reviews
Im waiting on surgery....... i need my turbinates taken out. Ill let u know on any updates. Its simply procedure too..
Dr Jin only provides referrals to his list of doctors. He does not refer any patients to main hospitals like UCSF. Avoid.
Dr. Jin is a very professional urologist. He performed a cystoscopy on me on 11/17/23. I was worried that it would be painful during and after the examination, but I felt no pain at all during and after the examination. , and he immediately arranged for me to undergo surgery for benign anterior hypertrophy. His explanations were also very detailed. He is really a very good urologist. Today I called his office to ask about insurance, and his assistant explained it very clearly to me. I am sincerely grateful.
The person who picked up a phone hung up on me though I only asked generic questions. It seems she barely speaks any english and I'm guessing this facility is for specific group of people who speak their language.
Called about 9 times, never answered.
Tried to contact this office this morning to ask why they failed to respond to Simon Imaging request for clinical information as the CT scan appointment was cancelled due to doctor office non response. Called office today during business hours but no one picked up the phone. Called repeatedly and then someone answered the phone but told me to wait. I waited for 30 minutes and 2 seconds and hang up. Why waste time? Look for another doctor.
He is not the only one doing this these days, but he gave me a refusal to somebody who does not take my insurance. And there is really no plan B for when that happens. And, the person who took my calls really did not want to take a message beyond "call me back." It took a couple of calls and some insistence to do it, or at least say that she will do it. We shall see. Also, issues around using their bathroom.
Dr Jin is an amazing doctor, took excellent care of me. The office staff is a little rough, but his care is worth it.
Completely unprofessional staff. Five attempts to book an appointment for a doctor referral over the course of three months: I was hung up on, put on hold for over 15 minutes then disconnected, reached an answering machine that was full, left a message with no callback - the only time I spoke to a person, they took a message (sounding confused) and that also never resulted in a callback. My primary physician insisted on this practitioner even after all of these red flags, and scheduled an appointment with them on my behalf. I arrived at 1pm as directed and the door was locked. Posted lunch hour was 12 to 1, but despite a few patients (one of who was scheduled at 1 sharp) the door didn’t open until 1:20, where I was greeted with paperwork *identical* to what I’d already filled out online the day before. Avoid. 避免.
Doctor Jin is amazing! Kind, explained everything thoroughly. The office staff can be a bit abrupt, but the doctor himself is wonderful.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
