List of William Naber's Reviews
I have been going to Dr. Nabor for more than 20 years. Hes an oldschool physician with a wealth of knowledge and experience. When you visit Dr. Nabor, he personally spends a full half hour with you and he takes the time to thoroughly go through all of your information. When I have had medical issues, I have found that his hunches about the source of the problem are usually spoton. This comes from his wealth of experience. He makes referrals to excellent specialists. I hope he outlives me because I plan to keep going to Dr. Nabor for the rest of my life!
He insists on leaving a security deposit, which I didn’t care about. But it’s been 2 months since my visit and I haven’t received my deposit back. I’ve called multiple times and he doesn’t answer my calls now. Don’t go to him! He is a scammer along with his employee Manuela. If they don’t get back to me soon, I’ll have to call the authorities this is not right.
Ive been seeing Dr. Naber for the good part of 10 years now and couldnt imagine seeing anyone else. He and his staff are welcoming, professional and sincere about my overall wellbeing...both physically and mentally!I always appreciate how Dr. Naber wants to make sure my insurance coverage is adequate for the services required so that we as patients arent getting screwed what I mean by this is he seems quite aware of the sham that health insurance companies can be. Since I began seeing Dr. Naber, my overall health has never been better and much of that is because of his guidance. If you are looking for a familyoriented Doctor to take care of you or your loved ones, see Dr. Naber!
So this was in 2012, little late to review but, Dr Naber saved my life. He was able to see me on shorter notice than any office would like, I thought I pulled a muscle, NOPE. Dr. Naber tells me its my appendix and to immediately go to the ER, or he can call an ambulance for me. I gladly went to the ER in my own transportation, and less than an hour later rushed into surgery because my appendix was about to burst.Right before the surgery they found a tumor on my ovary, and I was lucky to have that removed as well.if it wasnt for him, I honestly wouldve been stubborn, taken an advil and kept lifting moving boxes back and forth, and died.slightly dramatic? yes. true? yes.Thank you for that Dr Naber, I can never thank you enough!
Dr. Naber is excellent. We have solved my blood pressure problem and are working on a few other minor issues. His approach makes a lot of sense. Weve started some meds & exercise plan, and then I come back in 2 months for a retest on my different blood stuff. He takes the time to get to know you as a patient, and he has a lot of good info locked up in that brain. Ive spent some time researching the things that he tells me, and hes usually spot on.The office is old school. Paper records and photocopies and you write a check (!!!) for payment! (No credit cards accepted). It would be great if he could update this, but besides that, hes fantastic.
Dr Naber is greatno nonsense yet thorough. The people who work at the front desk in his office are also pretty great, as are the nurses. The one thing to keep in mind is that he doesnt take credit cards, so youll either have to go across the street to the ATM in that bodega or bring your check book/cash.
I recommend Dr. William Naber to just about everybody. I have been going to this Dr. about 20 years, and plan to stay with him for life. If he decides you need a specialist, hell refer you to very good people. Dr. Naber will always work with you, to keep you in the best of health. Dr. Naber is a very personable man, humble, truthful, and a good human being.
Ive been seeing Dr. Naber for over 5 years and I will continue seeing him as long as I live in the Bay Area. He is by far the best primary Physician Ive ever had, Im 41 and have seen so many primary doctors that dont care or just care to address the problem on hand. Dr. Naber takes his time and goes out of his way to help me; hes very well researched and knowledgeable.Because of his great medical expertise I was able to overcome my high cholesterol problem and discovered a thyroid problem at very early stages.I would highly recommend him.
I made the mistake of telling Dr. Naber my insurance was soon to run out. At this he insisted I get blood work, amongst other unnecessary and expensive check ups. I explained that I didnt not have the money, but he assured me my insurance would cover it. As a naive young girl, I believed him. Then I was sent a $400+ bill. I called back and tried to explain this error to the receptionist. She was not helpful, and would not allow me to talk to Dr. Naber. She apparently couldnt seem to figure out my insurance... I called back and left a few messages asking for him to call me when he could, or else to call my insurance. I left them numbers for my insurance company.I called back another time, leaving messages. Then I heard nothing for two years. In that time, neither my address of my phone number has changed. Seeing as I was not contacted, I assumed it had been taken care of.Two years later, my MOTHER gets a call from a collections agency. So now, obviously I no longer have the insurance and I have a $400+ bill that I was assured I would not have to pay (at the time of my visit). Why would they not contact me? Why is it so hard for them to call the insurance company? Why would they ignore me and not even hand over the correct information to the agency? Why would they lie to me, knowing I cannot afford this?In my opinion Dr. Naber is only interested in how much money he can get out of his patients.
Dr. Naber is a very good listener. His staff seems genuinely to care. Maybe thats why he always refers patients to the best specialists. If you are not having good luck with your primarycare physician, check out Dr. Naber. He has a very interesting background, too.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
