Dr. Peled helped me so much with my occipital nerve pain (GON, lesser and third). It had gotten so bad I couldn’t hold my phone or use headphones in my left ear. The pain in the back of my head would go off randomly while driving, exercising or just turning my head. He made me feel comfortable, listened to my concerns and his staff is warm and professional as well. I recommend him highly if you are suffering with nerve pain! Thank you Dr. Peled.

Dr. Peled changed my life! I am about eight weeks post surgery and can't even recall the last time I felt so well! I am living again! I couldn't be more appreciative! I highly recommend at least a consult with Dr. P to see if you are a surgical candidate.

Dr Peled misdiagnosed me and sent me off. Spent 5 years believing I didn’t have occipital neuralgia because I trusted his opinion only to move to Ohio because of it and get diagnosed with occipital neuralgia. I made a comment about how he misdiagnosed me and I didn’t have a good experience with him but other people might have and I called now with a referral to see him and an updated diagnosis and he refused to see me as a patient. I understand he may be upset that I spoke about how my experience wasn’t pleasant but I was hoping with my new diagnosis he would be willing to help and things could be different.

Dr. Peled has changed my life. I’ve suffered from debilitating migraines for 25+ years. I have had every treatment and medication available. This surgery has given me back my life. Dr. Peled is patient and explains everything in detail in an easy way to understand. Highly recommend him!

In 2018 I was a 31 yr old working and living a normal life. I started getting severe migraines and burning pain in my head. I had pain and pressure on the top of my head like a tight band as well as pain in my forehead, eyebrows and eyes. The pain became 24/7. I ended up having to quit my job, sell my home and move back in with my parents in AL. I lost all independence and relied on my family for everything. I saw every kind of doctor hoping to find someone to help. ENT specialists, Neurologists, Physical Therapist, Radiation Oncologist(hoping that radiation could help), Neurosurgeon, Psychologist, Psychiatrist. I was sent to a Psychiatrist by my first Neurologist as he thought I was creating the pain in my head. You name it I tried it, several anticonvulsants, depression medication used to treat nerve pain, selective serotonin receptor agonists, migraine preventives, etc. NOTHING would take the pain away. The pain was invisible and nobody could understand what I was going through. My parents at first thought I had a drug problem and was losing my mind. I was literally at my wits end until I came upon a social media support group for Occipital Neuralgia. I had seen the term through my google searches and noticed that most of the symptoms are what I felt. I started reading other peoples posts about their pain it was spot on. I discovered Dr. Peled through this group. I had a skype consultation with him and for the first time I felt understood. He explained to me how peripheral nerves work and how they can affect us when damaged or compressed. Long story short because this is already forever long(sorry), I flew out to San Francisco and had a set of nerve blocks that in the past had never worked for me and BAM my head went numb for the first time and I could have cried. I finally in that moment was not able to feel the pain that I had had for the last year. Because the blocks worked I was a candidate for surgery. A few days later I had my GON decompressed, my TONs excised and had my LON's decompressed. I am exactly a year out and two months ago I went back to work and bought a house. I am back on my feet again all thanks to Dr. Peled. I highly recommend him and definitely would give him a call. He is an expert in his field and very professional. I have learned so much from him and finally have a handle on all of this. It's definitely a long process with ups and downs but I am so glad that I had the surgery.

Christina and Cary-Anne make the entire process stress free and are there every step of the way before and after surgery to help in any way that they can. He is compassionate, humorous, professional and always available for his patients. He has a great bed side manner! As there are many unknowns with peripheral nerve surgery Dr Peled will do his best to give you all of the possible outcomes both good and bad. He will answer any and all questions that you may have and he is always willing to listen to his patients. I feel I made the absolute best choice in having Dr Peled perform my surgery and he has been there for me every step of the way. I am still in the process of recovery but my life is much better now than before surgery and I can only hope that it will continue to get better. Every part of this whole process was well thought out and the entire staff was helpful. From the initial consultation learning about the procedure, scheduling time with Dr. Peled and hearing about how to take the next steps towards scheduling, every part was well Hey ?? I just did this quick 15 minute yoga stretching for neck and shoulders AKA stress... and it was just what I needed So sending it all your way in case you also needed a short but effective self-care moment was well integrated and responsive to my needs. You cannot find a more thoughtful and professional team. And as I was grateful to experience, I also got my life back, as I no longer experience daily, chronic, mind-numbing pain from unending migraines.
