Cindy Chou Md's Online Review Report Card

I was pregnant with twins and experienced some bleeding. I did some research and found Dr. Chou and another OB as well to see if they can squeeze me in for an appointment. The other Dr.'s office refuse to provide me an earlier appointment. Luckily Dr. Chou's office was able to squeeze me in earlier even with her busy schedule, so that I can see her for a check up due to the bleeding. Dr. Chou is very soft spoken. She is very careful knowing that I would be high risk while carrying twins. She immediately referred me to a high risk Dr. and a thyroid Dr. to monitor my pregnancy progress as I was seeing her. She even put me on bedrest to ensure that babies will be staying in as long as they can. I had high blood pressure during pregnancy, so I had to do an emergency c-section. It was traumatizing because I was losing a lot of blood due to my uterus being too stretched bearing twins. Nonetheless, Dr Chou assured me that I would be taken care of. After careful treatment, I did not require additional surgeries and had a successful delivery. Thanks to Dr. Chou's, I was able to give birth to two healthy, beautiful twin girls. I can not thank her enough for everything that she has done for me and the twins.

when I'm in Dr. Chou's office, I always feel secured and relaxed. She explain your condition well and being very gentle and professional on all exam she preformed. Ever since i found her through my insurance provider list, I had my 1st child with her and now I'm coming back every year to do my annual check up. 100% recommended this place!

Dr Cindy Chou is the one for me to go to for all my OBGYN related concerns ever since i found her on my provider list. very recommended!!!!!I have done my first pregnancy with Dr Chou and i have done my annual pap smear check up here after great experience each time i visit Dr Chou and her office.

Dr. Chou was simply wonderful during the time that I was under her care while pregnant. She took the time to listen and care about my concerns. I am definitely keep her as my OBGYN.

The most unprofessional, rude, and misinformed patient care I've ever experienced. Just about every search for this MD will give you her address in San Gabriel, meanwhile she has TWO locations - and apparently, according to the receptionist in Sierra Made, they aren't even affiliated with each other! No confirmation of an apt time, email, text, nor did the woman who set my even appointment confirm which address my appointment was. My fiance and I show up in San Gabriel early (8:30 Am, which is when they asked us to show up to fill out paperwork) and the (rude) woman said that the Dr doesnt come into office until 4:30 PM - WHAT?! Apparently she has two locations, and they insinuated that I should have known this according to the number I called: every # leads to San Gabriel. My fiance and I SPEED to Sierra Madre to hunt down her second office. Meanwhile, there's no call to even confirm or ask if we're still on our way (every office i have been to at least checks or confirms appointment times - its like i never even existed?!) When I finally find the number to this Sierra Madre location, we call the office to confirm we're still on the way, she says they have no affiliation with the San Gabriel office... at this point we're running 25~ mins late and Im beyond disbelief and ask if she can inform the doctor. She asks us to wait, and the Dr responds that she doesn't see patients that are 30 minutes late, but if we can come in in the next two minutes she may be able to see us. So this is how you treat a 6-month pregnant patient of yours who woke up early, made it to your office on time only to be treated rudely by either incompetent or completely useless unknowedgable staff, rush to find you, and you retort with a response as if I'm a child and we're wasting your time? Absolutely ridiculous, unprofessional, egregiously misinformed experience, office, business, and practice.

This review is for Lina or Tina? the nurse worked in the back office for Dr. Chou, when I made the appointment, she answered my phone and we had a very pleasant talk and today when I met her in person.She is such a caring, polite, kind and nice person, very professional. She really is the treasure for any doctor to have. Thanks for your great job!!!

I am so lucky to have Doctor Chou as my OB doctor during my pregnancy and delivery. I am almost 40 years old when pregnant and I have some problems during my pregnancy. Doctor Chou is so professional and nice! She helped me to solve all my problems related to the pregnancy.Me and my baby are both very lucky to have Doctor Chou with us. My baby came 5 weeks earlier than the due day on last August. Doctor Chou came to me as soon as she knew I was in the hospital. She explained everything to me and made me calm. The C section was smooth and my baby born healthy. My baby stayed in the NICU for only a few days and everything was good then we went home very happy.Thank you Doctor Chou! And also thanks for the assistant Lina, she's very helpful and super nice!

Dr. Chou is very supportive and thoughtful for her patient, she makes me feel secured and comfortable not only during the routine check up but in the delivery. She is not talkative but she is very nice and with patient to answer all my question. I had peace of mind when every time I met her. Her staff are all nice people and friendly. Highly recommend Dr. Chou, I will go for her again when next time I am pregnant
