Dr. Pan is patient, compassionate and an extremely detail oriented physician. I appreciated his thoughtful care and that he listened to all my needs. Highly recommended!

Dr. Pan is absolutely the best GI doctor I have ever been to!! I have suffered from IBS for years and he is the ONLY doctor who has finally been able to help me!! I became associated with him after being hospitalized with this problem as he was called in to consult on my case. I realizedearly on that he was the only GI doctor I have ever been to that was willing to stick with me and help me through months of trying different regimes of medications to help me become regulated. He follows me closely on a regular basis to ensure I don't get off track. He is patient, kind and obviously highly trained within his specialty! I would highly recommend Dr Dana Pan to anyone who is looking for a GI doctor or someone who may be unhappy with the one they are presently going to. Also, the office in San Gabriel has a full complement of staff who are extremely efficient and courteous. In closing Dr. Pan basically restored my life to normalcy after all these months and can't thank him enough!!

Not very attentive, doesn't listen to patients.

I am a 70 year old male that had been in great discomfort from hemorrhoids for the past 18+ months. It had finally gotten to the point that I had to seek medical help. I am beyond pleased that I contacted Dana Pan, MD at "inSite Digestive Health Care" in San Gabriel. Dr. Pan is the ultimate professional. He listened to every word I said and asked several questions to determine the appropriate course of treatment. He thoroughly explained the process of hemorrhoid banding and what was to be expected in the days following. His diagnosis and treatment were 100% spot on. I met with him on three occasions with a 6 week follow up. I am rid of my problem and experience total relief. Should the readers of this review suffer as I did, I have two very important recommendations. Firstly, do not wait to seek medical help. Secondly, and most importantly, contact Dr. Dana Pan for outstanding medical care.

Me and my husband amd father go to dr pan. He's very passionate in what he does and follows up. If I call with questions he calls back. Both my hubby and dad had colonoscpu and endoscopy he found a few things on both of their and treated them asap. 8 months later they are both fine and he always follows up. They are quick with appointment unlike other doctors take 2 months to get a procedure done

I am grateful for being a patient of Dr Dana Pan, MD, inSite Digestive Health Care, San Gabriel clinic. I have Advanced Parkinson having problem swallowing. He listened courteously as I have speech difficulty due to Parkinson. I had a blood test and he immediately notified me because it showed I have another serious health issue, not related to Parkinson. However, a special blood test was declined by my insurance. Dr Pan didn't waste time as he concurrently applied for Authorization for my Medicines. He was proactive! I originally saw him for his Gastroenterology specialty, but he is now also treating me for my other health problem. He carefully explained all my options and patiently answered my questions. If not for his due diligence, my 2ndhealth issue would have gotten even worse and would not have been discovered. Dr Pan is very thorough, knowledgeable, respectful, compassionate, and a true professional in every sense of the word. He and his staff are efficient and responsive. I am thankful beyond measure for being a patient of Dr Dana Pan.

My brother went to the ER for stomach cramps. Dr. Pan did a colonoscopy and afterwards told my brother he had colon cancer and needed a colectomy and probably colostomy.Luckily, my brother, who is elderly and "ready to go," as he puts it, refused surgery.Several days later, the biopsy results came back negative for cancer.That was almost a year ago now. If Dr. Pan had had his way, my elderly brother would need 24-hour care because he would have had a colostomy bag that he wouldn't have been able to handle himself.Get a second opinion.
