Really rude recipient. We got the phone call back asked why we had a no show one month ago because they want to know the reason why and after that they can make an appointment again. I didn’t know the situation why my dad didn’t go last appointment, I said sorry and didn’t know anything about it. We had an appointment and the front desk staff called to ask us to have a video consultation on time. But we've been waiting for almost two hours and were told we'd have to reschedule. Is our time not time? We have jobs. We ask for leave and wait at home. How does this treat a heart patient?????

The doctor did not provide enough information and is not quite helpful. On my husband's most recent visit, the receptionist refused him just because his Anthem Bluecross insurance is secondary not primary. My husband also has Kaiser as primary. He was told this is a new policy, so even if my husband is an old patient and has been seen by the doc many times, he was refused to see the doctor this time after 50 mins drive. He has been waiting for quite a few weeks to get the spot. The receptionist is very rude. First it is not fair if people does not have Anthem as primary. Second, even if they have the right not to see patients with Kaiser as first insurance, they did not gather enough info before patients come to the office. Transfer from Kaiser to Dr. Adrian Ma office, I'm kind nervous with my new Cardiovascular medicine doctor. I have been very happy with the staffs and dr. Ma with all 4 times in the office visit and testing... hopefully my heart will be ok under his care!

I don't have problem with Dr. Ma, just the the worst front desk woman I have ever seen. The front desk woman is so rude and arrogant, showing no respect to patients at all.I called in on Monday to request authorization from the doctor for Heart medication for my husband.  the receptionist said they received the requested from CVS, but it will take them 48 hours to process it.  I told them he is running out of the medication and really need it. they hung up.Friday it mean 156 hrs, i called CVS they said the doctor still didn't authorized yet!  I called the office and told me to hold, and put me on hold for 15 minutes then put me thru voicemail.  every time called i couldn't get thru them or took for ever to get to them and put will put you on hold again.....if no medication available, if something happens to my husband i am sure will sue them, are they responsible for his heart failure?   it's not a cold medication this is Cardiology office, patient came here because they need help but the receptionist didn't care of response to patient needed!!!

Receptionist is super rude! I called to make an appointment and the way she's talking was super disrespectful. She doesn't care about the patients even I called for urgent and tried to get the earliest appointment, she put me on hold and let me wait more than 10 minutes and the system automatically transferred me to voicemail! I was wondering if they can take the responsibility because of their ignorant! They are in trouble.

Rude front desk staff! If you want to be treated with respect then don't come here. I have no problem with Dr. Ma, but one of his front desk staffs is horrible! If she like you she'll help you and talk nicely, but if she doesn't then be ready to be snap or yell at. Not professional at all!

This review is for the rude front desk Asian lady. Apparently my grandfather is not the only one she was being rude to after reading some of the reviews. My grandfather has a heart problem, and has been been seeing Dr. Ma for treatments. My grandfather has lots of worries and likes to ask a lot of questions which is understandable especially during the pandemic. However, rather than consoling him he has been verbally attacked by the frontdesk lady more than once. She yelled at him and even refused outright to help him. Like the precious reviews said she lacks compassion and manners, I like to add one more "EMPATHY." If you have a sick elderly at home you should know to be more kind and understanding. Everyone will become old and sick one day, so why cant the elderly get treated better??? Dont work in the medical field if you don't have these qualities! My grandfather likes Dr.Ma a lot, but we will switch doctor for him because of the way he is being treated by the frontdesk staff.
