update: 12/29/20I was able to speak with Dr. Yu who called me back to answer all my questions.My initial negative review is directed to his front desk staff.I had my colonoscopy and endoscopy done by Dr. Yu.When he called to give me a report, It was completely out of the office hour: 10 pm. It took me off guard that I did not have all the questions I wanted to ask him back until the next day I saw the report again. When his office called me, I asked those questions and wanted to talk to him. Instead, this receptionist who called answered to my question. I told her that she was not a trained doctor and my questions should be addressed to Dr. Yu. she wanted to schedule another appointment, meaning I had to pay my copayment and charging for insurance.You did not even give me a chance to ask proper questions and wanted to charge me to set up a new appointment? Also, this receptionist needs to be reminded that she is not a trained medical service provider. None of my questions should have been answered by you such as side effects, why x number of polyps but some were cancerous. You should be very careful with medical advice here. Very upsetting experience. for your information, asking additional questions is part of the exam I paid for.

Like usual, asked to come in 15 minutes early, which I did. Ended up waiting an hour from the time arrived before I left without seeing the doctor. I understand appointments can run long or late, but 45 minutes after with no indication of when I will see the doctor is unacceptable. Especially since I'll end up being charged for the full appointment anyway. If I show up 45 minutes late you make me reschedule and charge me a late fee.

I definitely feel that Dr. YU is paying attention to me and care about me. Front desk staff is nice and professional, and positive attitude.

Best, Dr. ever....Saved my life...Very attentive, bright, direct. He is dedicated, and patient-driven! His staff can be tough, as they are very protective of Dr. Yu. Highly recommend.
