Anjali Gulati's Online Review Report Card

The staff at this office is the absolute worst, They have no phone etiquette at all. They are horribly rude. If you try to call their office to obtain anything they talk to you like you are horribly inconveniencing them. I feel sorry for any patient who has to endure their abuse just to get cardiac care.

My primary care physician referred me to Dr Gulate last October. My communication issues with her office started in the first visit. My PCP’s office had scheduled the appointment but when I arrived my appointment was not on their books. A phone call to my PCP revealed that Dr Gulate’s office had waited for my medical records and then not followed up in their appointment book. Whenever I see the doctor she takes her time and I like her very much. But it has taken forever for get to run all the tests she needs to finalize my medications. It has been almost 9 months. She has not called me with the results of tests done in April. We had a telehealth appointment today which she neglected to keep. This is a pattern for her. There have been several other occasions when I was told she would call and she hasn’t. I am ready to switch doctors.

Hands down the worst doctor I’ve ever met. She is extremely rude, laughed at me when I was explaining my symptoms several times, and left my room to see another patient for an hour. I was in the office for 2 hours and 45 minutes. Why didn’t I leave? This was a follow up appointment from when I was in the ER. If I would have checked her reviews first, there’s no way in hell I would’ve booked the follow up appointment with her. She was very sarcastic and kept interrupting me when I would explain my symptoms and then got upset because I wasn’t telling her everything at once. She kept checking her phone and sending text messages while I was speaking and kept having me repeat myself because she wasn’t paying attention.

Dr.Gulati is my savior, because of her thorough investigation and consensual, with fellow cardiologist, recommendation I am alive today. She is a good communicator and takes good care of her patients.

Imagine the worst desi doctor possible. She’s close. No bedside manner. Poor location. Understaffed making patients do data entry on a system from 1998. She’s a super Karen. Find anyone else because you’ll find better.

My condition was precarious when - at the age of 73 - I had been admitted to the hospital with severe coronary conditions and was fortunate for Dr. Gulati to have been on call. Over the next few days she directed many complex procedures and staff orchestration and demonstrated remarkable abilities to sense and to diagnose conditions and ensure effective treatment. Dr. Gulati displays a strong sense of urgency and great treatment prioritization. She provides a great human touch during examinations, consultations and follow up visits. In an after-surgery consultation the Doctor noted a new, troubling symptom. The concern on her face was immediately palpable, and she ensured that the proper things were done immediately to contain any possible damage. I also have personal knowledge from others treated by Dr. Gulati that their treatments and experiences were similarly excellent. Dr. Gulati has contributed immensely to my recovery and to a long-missing robustness in my life. Thank you!

Dr Gulati is amazing and is an excellent cardiologist. She just might have saved my life today finding a blood clot during a routine ECHO for my cancer treatment! She always will make time and see you even if she’s booked! She has integrity and is excellent at figuring out what is wrong if anything!!

Knowledgable. Takes time and really listens but this causes delays so it is a catch 22. I have been a patient for 5+ years and one of her staff members still calls me by someone else's name.

I saw Dr. Gulati when I was admitted to Good Samaritan hospital. for a cardiac observation. She was in charge of the stress test. She was terrific. Very clear, very efficient, and yet I didn't feel rushed or minimized. She's exactly what I'd look for in a doctor, especially a cardiologist.
