Autumn Smile Dental's Online Review Report Card

​I visited this office for a routine dental cleaning. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the results. After the procedure, I can still feel and see noticeable tartar/calculus deposits on my teeth. ​A professional cleaning should result in a smooth, clean surface, but it seems that the procedure was performed superficially and incompletely. I expected a much higher standard of care. I am now forced to seek a second opinion and a proper cleaning elsewhere to ensure my oral health is addressed correctly. I cannot recommend this office for dental hygiene services. And perhaps I need to report about this to my dental insurance provider

Overall my experience at Autumn Smile was decent, the Doctor and hygienists were are lovely. It's their front desk staff that made the experience complicated. First of all, they don't answer the phone. It took me about 5 times trying to call to reschedule an appointment! When they did answer, they asked if I wanted to cancel the appointment now and just call back to reschedule. To me that made absolutely no sense, because why would I call back when I'm speaking to you now?? Also, every time the front desk lady seems to have some type of an attitude, like if I'm inconveniencing her by calling. She has no customer service skills or simple communication skills. However, the providers are great, it's such a shame they have an incompetent front desk staff.

They were straightforward with pricing and took good care of me. I needed a cleaning and a wire in my mouth fixed rather quickly and they got it done. The office is very clean and futuristic looking. If you'd like, you can watch tv while they clean your teeth. I will return.

We are long time patients here, but I think it is time we found a new clinic. They damage your perfectly good teeth during routine operations and don't even take responsibility for it. They don't even tell you that they screwed up until you find out yourself and come back. It happened to me and it happened to my wife. They chipped off a perfectly good tooth and then claimed that it was already broken when it had no signs of a crack and my wife had no complaints about that tooth. You either take responsibility for the operation that you are about to do, or you should at least tell the patient that their teeth may be damaged during cleaning and it wont be the doctors responsibility. The least we can expect is to get out of the clinic with our teeth in the same condition as when we walked in, if not better.

ASD's staff is professional, timely, and kind. I am most impressed with their use of technology and automation. I go 3x / yr for cleanings and always enjoy my visits due to their free Netflix! The only slight surprise is their location in ESSJ. It definitely stands out from other east side businesses

Had two wisdom teeth taken out on one side. Local anesthesia only. I was well taken care of . The team did good job with the procedure. Office had good appeal so I felt like I was as the right place for the job. Dr. Calvin Nguyen did a great job explaining the procedure and guiding me through it . Letting me know when a point of concern would arise.

Listen to the patient when there are concerns, and follow-up when dental work goes wrong. Mistakes do happen ( I have been understanding), however it will be appreciated if the dentists cared enough to address the problem they created. Patients shouldn't have to continue contacting the office for follow-up soon after the dentists quit calling to check if their mistake is still causing problems. The dentists admitted to the mistake, agreed they would make it right, however they quit checking to make sure the issue did not worsen and/or stay the same. To have another dentist fix their mistake would be an out of pocket expense because the insurance will not pay "again" before 2 yrs have passed since the procedure. If I went into details I'm sure people would avoid Autumn Dental, I'm positive. If I'm not mistaken, I started with Dr. Calvin and ended with Dr. Clayton. I honestly thought they cared, and I was patient, kind, and as understanding as I possibly could be until the communication stopped from their end not mine. I feel deceived, and mislead to say the least, I really thought Dr. Clayton cared, but that was just hopeful thinking on my part. Now I have to pay out of pocket, or wait for months before my insurance will pay to correct a terrible issue. Again, I am leaving out details because I don't want to seem vindictive due to their negligence, however this dental office has made me feel like I don't matter. I honestly wish I would have never stepped into their dental office, I would not have ever had any problems like now. Good luck to everyone who choose to put your trust in this dental practice. Yes, I did choose their office after reading reviews on Yelp. Unfortunately, I ended up in the small percentage of patients that has suffered from their mistakes and uncaring aftercare.

I've been coming here for almost 7 years. I will never switch dentists. Front staff is so nice. You get to watch Apple TV. The dentists actually take the time to go over your scans and give great recs. I LOVE THIS PLACE.
