The staff is amazing! Very kind and great at their job. The nurses were also very kind and seemed to really care about what I had to say. But Dr. Wu is awful. DO NOT GO TO HIM! He didn't seem to be taking me seriously at all. He told me he thought I have POTS but wanted to run other tests just in case, then completely ignored me when I said I felt sick after a stress test. He asked me why my HR was in the 180s at points, I told him the most strenuous thing I did was use the bathroom because I felt sick for days after my stress test & the monitor was put on the day of it. Then he said nothing is wrong with me. This was July 2021. He also refused to fill out a form for work saying I was seeking medical attention and not on vacation. He all but refused to fill it out and as a result, I lost my job. I went through almost all my savings during the time I was unemployed. I got a second opinion, had a Tilt Table Test, and do have POTS. As of March 2022, I'm finally getting treated.
The staff is amazing! Very kind and great at their job. The nurses were also very kind and seemed to really care about what I had to say. But Dr. Wu is awful. DO NOT GO TO HIM! He didn't seem to be taking me seriously at all. I told him that my heart rate was really high all the time, I was getting so dizzy (and almost fainted a few times) at work I had to take medical leave. At one point I even went to the ER, which I was actually apprehensive about but the ER nurses were all very glad I went. When I asked him to fill out some forms to say that I was seeking medical attention and not just on vacation he all but refused. Because of this, I lost my job. During my first appointment he told me that he wants to do a few tests and if they came back negative he wants to do a Tilt Table Test to see if I have POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome). He had me do a stress test, heart monitor, and an ultrasound on my heart. I felt very sick the first few days after my stress test and when I told him he completely dismissed it. It seemed like he didn't believe me. When we had the phone call to review my preliminary tests he asked what I was doing at certain periods during the time I had my monitor on. I told him that I was only at home, not even doing chores, because I had my monitor put on immediately after my stress test and felt very sick for the first few days. When I asked why he was asking, he said that it was because my heart rate was in the 180s at certain points. This was surprising to me as my Apple Watch didn't catch it. Which it's an Apple Watch, not medical equipment, and so hearing it went to 180 when the most I was doing was going to the bathroom was new information and concerning to me. Then he said that he doesn't think there's anything wrong with me and I should talk to my primary doctor if I have any concerns. It sounded like he thought I was faking it or something. This was in July of 2021. It took me months to find another doctor and wait for that appointment to come around as most of them are booked a few months out. I went to get a second opinion and that doctor seemed very concerned. I presented the same information to him as I had to Dr. Wu and he immediately saw that it wasn't normal. He told me that it might be POTS, so he ordered a Tilt Table Test. The Tilt Table Test came back positive. I finally started medication this week and am starting to see some results. It seems I'm finally on the right path, no thanks to Dr. Wu. (Btw, I found a work from home job. But I did end up using almost all of my savings while I was unemployed since Dr. Wu couldn't be bothered to fill out a form).

Spent some time recently in the hospital for heart palpitations. Was told by attending doctors that I needed to see my cardiologist in 5 days for a 14 day monitoring. And my primary care doctor in 2 weeks. Called Dr. Wu's office and was told I needed an order from my primary care to see him. My primary care is out for 2 weeks. They refused to see me without the order. Even when the staff from the attending doctors office called Dr. Wu's office they still said no. So even though I had been in the hospital and needed to have this monitoring done, they refused. So I will not be persuing any further treatment from Dr. Wu. Obviously patient well being is not a concern.
Dr. Wu recommended my Father Andrew Trapani on the drug Pradaxa, my father bleed to death and we lost him on November 28, 2016 after only 6 months on this drug. I would only say, that this drug needs to be monitor and the guidelines be more restrictive and that the Dr.'s who are prescribing this drug monitor their patients or recommend another blood thinner with a long history of success vs. risks. Not very knowledgeable especially for a cardiologist!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
