i went for an emergency visit and dr kwong was the doctor who attend me,shes so friendly and she was the one who do my extraction,the extraction was fats and smooth.

The clinic’s equipment and the expertise of the dentists really need improvement. Had to return five or even more times for a single issue, and various problems kept popping up throughout the process. It was a pretty poor experience.

To piggyback on the post below, the office advised the doctor could complete an apicoectomy but ended up charging for the visit and referring my husband to a specialist. Just beware when you're inquiring about a procedure as they may just say yes to get you in and charge you for other things before referring you.

Wasted my time. They said they do wisdom teeth removal and to come in. All they did was charge me for the visit and referred me to a real oral surgeon.

First and foremost, I was looking for a dentist that accepted my insurance coverage and after looking and seeing that other dentist around me had low reviews, I decided to go with Butterfly Dental care and the dentist people that took care of me, They were amazing very attentive very educational responses to my questions that I had. I totally recommend Dr.Kwong She was very sweet, Made sure to tell me the after care for my teeth and what to continue doing. I will definitely be back to make more appointments with her. The Dental office was very clean the other front desk receptionist explain to me what paperwork needed to be complete, I am very much felt welcoming to now become a patient with them.

This place was recommended by one of my colleague, and now I totally get it. 💰 Prices are very reasonable, and before every treatment they always confirm the exact cost—super transparent. 🦷 One dentist handles cleaning & basic care—precise and gentle. 💉 Dr. Chen, the owner, did my root canal today. Every time she gives anesthesia, she pats my shoulder—it magically reduces the pain. Honestly, I’ve been to so many dentists since childhood, but here it’s almost painless. Truly amazing! As long as I live in the Bay Area, I’m only coming here. ❤️ Highly recommend to all my friends and family!

I love to support real, hard working people with local businesses. I have been seeing Doctor Chen and Doctor Kwong for years for restorative and cosmetic work. Recently brought my mother in for a new crown. My mother is petrified of dentists, but felt safe and relaxed enough that I could leave her and run errands. Office is very high tech, soothing, and rates are beyond reasonable. When the world was freaking out over Covid, this place was an oasis of common sense, and it never felt like a concentration camp, like every other healthcare facility in town. Imagine working your tail off in dental school and continuing education (Dr. Chen travels the world for the latest advancements whilst providing affordable access to our community). The world gets shut down, your life's work and investment at stake.. Dr. Chen never panicked, invested to do whatever necessary to safeguard her patients, and she pulled through it with grace under pressure. Kathy is at the front desk and she makes being led to the chair and bill paying pleasant. Both of these doctors are ethical (if it ain't broke and doesn't hurt, don't fix it) and both doctors are absolutely outstanding at giving proper fully informed consent every step of the way (something that has been lacking in healthcare). I genuinely do love coming here. I would never write a misleading or incentivized review. I just believe it's time in this world to give credit where credit is due. You will be treated like a human being, and not like they are just trying to extract value out of you, like at the big money places.

** Update: I do not know what their process is film hiring but they need to do a better job! Lupe in the front is absolutely ruud and could quite honestly be the reason I don’t return here. The RDA in the back quoted me incorrectly having me sign for the wrong tooth. I’m so extremely disappointed in my visit today. Find quality and professional help and to represent your business. It’s key! I’m the patient that constantly has something wrong with my teeth since I was a kid. I’ve only experienced 2 dentists in my lifetime and Butterfly Dental is my third. I’ve met two dentists here and with both encounters, I felt comfortable and confident with their approach and plan of care. There are just some places you walk into that you feel comfortable and this place is that! Danni ( I don’t know if I spelled that correctly) but she is incredibly sweet and helpful on the phone. I’ve had a few other encounters with some maybe receptionist or somebody covering phones at a lunch hour that weren’t very personable but other than that— If you’re looking for a dentist don’t hesitate!
