California Eye Surgeons's Online Review Report Card

She is, no doubt, a gifted and smart doctor with lots of education..She is very quick, in and out, like youv'e been squeezed in. She is always that way. She did my cataract surgery a few years ago, and when I needed to come right back in she fixed my problem very well and quickly. Just about a week ago, she wisked into my room, again like I'd been squeezed in, stayed a short while and left. One never knows if she will return or if that's it. Her front office staff is not helpful and demand all kinds of information, and then you are told that you cannot have a phone visit which I had not requested..Priscilla is making decisions without discussing the situation with anyone. I am supposed to have surgery and also botox, neither is cosmetic and both have been approved by insurance

Well last review it was pretty much correct we went in for our first appointment was seen by the doctor paid the bill doctor said she’d make a report that she had to go see a retinologist we went to the retinologist we called back approximately a week later I’m sorry the doctor hasn’t had a chance to review your case file we will call you in one week , we’re still waiting on a phone call So long story short I’ve called on occasions Each response was the doctor‘s busy doing something she has not had time to review the case file that they would call in approximately a week they’ve missed that phone call for out of four times they’re batting zero I called today and got more excuses I don’t think this Doctors office is Viable for anybody If you can’t even respond to a phone call then obviously you’re above the rest of the social group and you can’t be troubled by our questions

Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The doctor took the time to explain everything and did a very thurough job. Having recently come from a doctor that seemed annoyed to have to deal with patients, it was a pleasant change.

I had both eyes done with Dr Harrup Kaur. She is very attentive and precise with great bed side manners. The office staff is also very nice and helpful. We had gone to another institution, but decided to get a second opinion with Dr Kaur Thank God we did it was like day and night. Dr Kaur found an other problem that the first surgeon completely missed. Thank you so much to Dr Kaur for your great care. I highly recommend California eye surgeons

They moved to another location in San Jose to 5330 Camden Avenue. Subpar quality of lenses despite the pricing (thick, unpolished edges, etc). I have worn glasses for 30 years and purchase a new pair every two years. The quality is below what I expect from a boutique eye store.

I had authorization and called this place to make appointment. The receptionist asked for my past records and said after receiving the records doctor Harrup has to go through them and make a decision if she wanna see me or not . I had my other doctor to sent my records to California eye surgeons. Then I called California eye surgeons back second time to see if they reviewed my records. The receptionist picked up the phone and said he will call me back in 30 min. to let me know. Nobody called me back. I called California eye surgeons for 3rd time. I had to explain everything from begging and remind her everything from scratch. Then she said we have to review the records and call you back. I waited 2 more days nothing heard again, so I called them back again. The same receptionist answered the phone put me on hold for a while and she came back and she said, " sorry sir doctor reviewed your records and said she is not taking adult patient now because of Covid-19." I am asking her but you knew from my authorization and from my first day call that I am an adult, so why you did not tell me the first day that I am an adult and doctor harrup is not accepting any adult patient? The receptionist responses that doctor had to review your records first. I was shocked and could not find any connection between reviewing my records and my age in order for doctor Harrup to make decision to see me or not and it did not make a sense to me at all. This is an act of discrimination because after reviewing my records they tell me oh we do not see adult patient. I would not recommend this place to anyone since they are scammers and they have a deep management issue.

What a scam! What kind of eye doctor doesn't take VSP. Used to be a patient of Dr. Langell who apparently sold her business number to this shady place. Charged for a contact exam but was not given a prescription.

So far not happy and we haven't even been seen yet. Called to say we woukd be there for an appointment asked why they called my husband's cell and not mine. The woman who answered the phone gave me major attitude. I'm the one that called to make the appointment and would not have given his number. I simply asked a question... don't need attitude.
