A really wonderful experience getting retina attachment surgery for my father. God bless Dr Chen! We didn’t have eye insurance but Dr was able to provide us financial assistance options. To us, he is God.

Dr Chen gets an A+ in my book. He removed a floater in my eye after cataract surgery. He is personable and will explain the procedures and answer any questions you have. I felt extremely comfortable and had a perfect outcome. I highly recommend him and would return in the future if warranted.

Dr. Chen, has done an excellent and professional job on my left eye. I walked into his office and could not see out of my left eye. With his professional advice and surgical skills and staff I was able to see again. What a true miracle in science.

I have been a patient of Dr Ward for many years. I recieved excellent care from him and his office staff. He retired last year before I stablished care with another doctor in the practice. Few weeks into the shut down, during the hight of uncertainty, I had a retinal detachment. Dr. Chen took me in as a patient, arrenged for emergency operation, and took care of me and my eye from that point on. Dr. Chen and his office staff are extremely knowedgeable, professional, caring and selfless. He risk his life to save my eye. I am forever indebted to him.

I have been seeing Dr Chen for about five years for macular degeneration. He is extremely professional and office is clean and inviting. There is free parking and office personal very friendly. I would definitely recommend him for any eye conditions you may have.

I have been a patient of Dr Chen for over 12 years. From our initial meeting I found him to be amiable and thorough, taking time to listen to my concerns, explain my condition alongside available options for treatment. Without a doubt, my eyesight continues to serve me well thanks to his treatment, review and care. As a patient, I visited the Santa Cruz Office for many years before moving to the Campbell Office. Both offices are comfortable and quiet environments served by friendly and efficient staff. For me, appointments have always been easy to arrange, even when circumstances required a change of date. Usually my appointments are punctual. Very occasionally there is a wait time due to an emergency, for which I am happy wait.

Excellent surgeon. No complications and clear information before and after the surgery. NO information or support for the one-month long recovery period (I found what I needed on-line and from other local doctors...). Three of five visits to his office with two hour waits. Medical staff in office seemed competent - but too rushed to give names or explain procedures.
