My wife had floaters on both eyes. These floaters had bothered her for many years. Both her cataract ophthalmologist and optometrist recommended Dr. Clement Chow. Dr. Chow carefully examined my wife's eyes with advanced equipment and confirmed vitrectomy could remove her eye floaters. Dr. Clement Chow was very warm, very patient with my wife's questions and concerns before the surgery that made my wife relaxed. During vitrectomy of both eyes Dr. Chow also repaired retina detachment that solved my wife's existing retina detaching problems. The surgery was smooth, his team is highly efficient. After surgery on both eyes, she had no pain, nor any complications, recovery was fast. My wife who is 60 said she hasn't seen so clearly since she was a young girl!! She was very very happy and thankful for Dr. Chow's expertise and skills. We highly recommend Dr. Clement Chow! (Nurses at the hospital told us all patients said Dr. Chow is excellent.)

Dr. Chow performed my epiretinal membrane (ERM) surgery in October. Although my eyes are still healing, the severe distortion has been minimized. I feel very fortunate but what is important is the Dr. Chow set very realistic expectations prior to the surgery. and answered the questions that I had (which were many since we all read the internet) What also impressed me was when I went to see my optometrist who is in a different office, Dr. Chow had made sure that my complete records had been sent, so information regarding my surgery were all available for my optometrist to review aided in my care. In addition the staff in his office is very professional and makes the visit very easy and comfortable. I would recommend that anyone with ERM consult with Dr. Chow prior to making a surgeon selection. I would definitely recommend him.

I met Dr. Chow for the first time a few months ago. Because I never had problems with my eyes (other than myopia) and I am young and healthy, I was dumfounded and scared to hear my diagnosis and the need for surgery. Needless to say, he was so kind, professional and friendly to calm me down and explain the whole surgery and recovery process. He answered all my questions and took his time to make sure I felt calm and collected. My case was complicated because I am pregnant - he weighed benefits vs. risks of the surgery with me and he researched and consulted with other colleagues to make sure I would get the best care possible. In the end, I had the surgery done with minimal drug exposure and everything went well! The whole process would have been very nerve-wracking hadn't it be for Dr. Chow. I would recommend Dr. Chow to all my family and friends!
