List of David Wong's Reviews
Good customer service Checkups are quick and the Dr is easy to talk to👍. What was surprising they were able to set up blood work, exray all in same building in one day easy breezy
Dr. David Wong is a very good doctor, he has a good bedside manner and is very professional. He has a lot of knowledge about his field of practice. He also makes sure his staff is well informed about any changes that need to be updated. The staff seems to follow the doctor in giving good service to the patients, I think that is very important as a doctor’s office.
Dr. Wong doesn't like patients to ask questions. All the time as his patient, he never once touched any areas of chronic pain. And when you have an medical problem that requires his immediate care, his response is "go to the emergency room" Why have a Primary Provider? I found him to be uninterested and very bias.
Dr Wong is one of the nicest and most thorough doctors I have ever seen! He goes over everything to make sure any test he feels is needed is ordered. Then he goes over the results with you and answers all your questions. He is also great about responding to e mails quickly. I highly recommend him!!
Zero or negative stars is how I would rate him. Bedside manners horiible. You don't ask for what you want, he is expert and treatment is only his way. He doesn't like complated cases. He will order test without even telling you. Depending on the county he might even try some way to be able to get permission to do procedures you didn't feel comforatable with. He shows no iniative and doesn't like spending too much time with a patient as he wants to see as many as he can (effiency and cost). If you don't fit the textbooks of conditions he can become hostile towards you and will even treat you more like you are a test subject with no rights. He doesn't listen and instead will be thinking what next to treat you and asking him about what you say he discounts it as being not related. When in pain, suffering or other condition he rarely will show any sympathy or a way to help you. Make sure if in hospital he is not your Gastro Doctor, trust me. Patient but not at this hospital
I have to disagree with the negative reviews posted here. I've been very happy with Dr Wong since he became my primary care MD following Dr Corsiglia's retirement. He's courteous, professional, asks good questions and is clearly dedicated to my health. It's true that SJMG has replaced its back-end, which can make getting hold of a live person a pain on the first try. But that's not the doctor's fault.
He is a great doctor! My husband and I have seen him for years with no complaints! He helped me with my back issues that no other doctor even cared about! Then when my son turned 18 and started feeling dizzy I had him see Dr. Wong. He did his examination and asked if he'd been diagnosed with a deviated septum and i said no. So we went to the ENT and what do you know severe deviation and sinus disease that his pediatrician or allergist never checked for ! Poor kid had been on prednisone 4 times for sinus issues and not one of them said anything! My family will continue with Dr. Wong as long as we are happy!
I was very apprehensive about getting a colonoscopy since this is my first one at 70 yrs. Dr Wong put me at ease and did a fantastic job and explained the results of it and sent some tissues to the lab. The whole staff was great also from start to finish. I highly recommend Dr Wong!
Dr Wong is a very thorough and caring Dr.He asks questions to understand and listens. He obviously has taken the time to review file each time.He came very highly recommended by friends that know many drs and can "go anywhere" for medical care.My husband went to him for several years.I finally also switched to him after I felt my Dr wasn't taking my concerns seriously.Within minutes Dr Wong did notice an enlarged thyroid and ordered tests, which turns out I did have a growth on my thyroid.Dr Wong also correctly figured out what was wrong with friends of ours.He is very calm and patient and rules out things so you don't worry.Sadly we don't have insurance now that will cover for Dr Wong,
Only went to him a couple of times. First visit he talked about a collection of his ties for 15 minutes. I can care less about his wardrobe. He didn't address me or my concerns it was all about him. Did the generic doctor office temp and heart check and sent me for lab work. Came back I had an infection I didn't find out I had an infection until after I called his office several times to try and find out the lab results. Staff called in for a anti biotic. Which I took and it didn't cure the infection. Went back in for a follow up. Waited in my room for 40 minutes or so until his staff went and got him for him to leave the other room my only guess is he was having a conversation with another patient maybe about clothing or something. Comes in, you're fine bye. After this I switched doctors.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
