List of David Yeh's Reviews
Dr Yeh and his staff ROCKS! They are very accommodating, detailed, knowledgable, and results oriented. His assistants really care and take time dealing with your concerns. Highly recommended if having neurological issues
Joke
I never actually met Dr. Yeh, instead his PA Justin and nurse Jennifer met with me. They were smooth, professional, comfortable and did a great job of selling me an injection that I did not need performed in their office by a "specialist who flies in on Saturdays". When I shared with my reservations, both Justin and Jennifer became patronizing to me. I got a second (and third) opinion at UCLA and MAYO where I was told the injections will not help and I needed surgery. After reviewing what they said - and how they said it, here's no possible way I would let Yeh's team work on me. You are better off to go to Stanford or UCLA for neuro work.
Flew into California from East Coast. Emergency brain surgery. So glad Dr. Yeh was there for me. if this had to happen, glad it happened where there was great neurosurgical care. Very grateful - I'm doing really well!
I was sent to see Dr Yeh by my pain management doctor, as he is in the same medical group. Every time he asked me a question, as I was answering, he cut me off before I could finish. His response to my pain, is that it shouldn't be that bad. He sent me for an xray across the way, but was gone by the time I got back to his office. His office staff assured me he would call me the next day about the xray. To his credit, he did. His attitude was a bit friendlier, and we discussed surgery options. I told him I would speak with my pain management doctor, and get back to him. The story he wrote in my chart when I picked it up, showed a different conversation. In which I agreed to continue holistic treatments instead of surgery and I would go back to see him in 3 months. This isn't at all what I told him. I would not recommend going to him.
I am 62-years-old and in November I couldn't walk without a cane or a walker. I could only sit for short periods of time before I had to lay down. I was in so much pain. My spinal cord was 75% compromised. Dr. Yeh performed my back surgery December 1, 2020. He realigned my spine and put in 4 screws, removed two large cysts, put a spacer between L4-L5, and shaved off a bone spur. It has been 6 months and now I bike 12 miles on Saturdays, walk for an hour and a half on the beach on Sundays, walk 3-5 miles daily, and swim 100 laps daily when the weather permits! I LOVE being able to move!! Dr. Yeh gave me back my life! Because I can move again, I have lost 27 lbs. as well! I am truly blessed to have Dr. Yeh as my surgeon! He is the best neuro surgeon ever!!!! Thank you, Dr. Yeh!
Rushed, Rude, Arrogant. Yet another medical "professional" who is focused on $$$ over patient care. If he doesn't get to charge your insurance for an expensive surgery he doesn't give a crap about you and you are told to leave.
Helped me with chronic back pain and discomfort. Could not ask for a better outcome! Remember surgical intervention is never a 100% guarantee so I am thankful for his and his teams hard work! Hope to never have to use his services again... but I will not hesitate to call on him in the future. He also did surgery on my 73 year old Father with excellent results. Thank you!!!
I am in my 7 th week of recovery from spinal fusion . The first 4 weeks were very painful and limiting. But Dr. Yeh warned me about how awful it would be and that helped me get through it. Dr. Yeh explained the procedure so thoroughly that increased my confidence in his abilities. I am grateful for the success of my surgery. I’ve just started PT and it’s going to be hard but worth the pain. BTW I am 75 years old and have suffered with back, hip, leg numbness for years.
Good results with foramenotomy to relieve a pinched nerve, I could feel it healing over the month after the procedure. Great to be free of pain and weakness.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
