I will never use this doctor. He was referred by my son’s paediatrician and cancelled the day before my sons appt according to the voicemail he’s too busy. he is now losing money because I will not bring my son to him. How unprofessional to leave a voicemail on someone’s voicemail saying you’re too busy to take them and they’re going to reschedule you without talking to you directly.
I took my mother here about a week ago. The office is OPEN. The doctor is knowledgeable about his specialty. Like many doctors, he focused on the treatment. I wish he looked into the cause of the problem.
October of 2019, initial visit at his new location in Fresno, Ca. Found him to be friendly, attentive and good listener. He was reassuring when detailing choices and possible outcomes of interventions and exhibited thorough knowledge of ENT issues. The office was very clean, staff went out of their way to be helpful and I highly recommend him to anyone needing ENT services.
I had an appointment at this office at 9:00A.M. When I came to the office for my appointment, I saw a notice on the door: " Sorry we close today". They did not even call me to cancel my appointment, it wasted my trip! I'll never go to see this doctor again.
I was extremely pleased with my first visit with Dr. Phan. I went in today for a second opinion for my chronic nasal congestion, as my experience with the previous ENT (Dr. Joshi Janardan) was somewhat underwhelming. Dr. Phan came across as very warm and polite. Took the time to listen to all of my symptoms. Then proceeded to examine, my ears nose and throat even though my problem was entirely nasal. He re-confirmed the diagnosis I had previously received (deviated septum), but went on to hand me a mirror and show my exactly what he could see up my nose. Explained and showed exactly what was going on, explained each and every symptom I had and how it tied to my condition. Moreover he also pointed out another condition I had in my throat, which could be adding to my snoring issue, which I had mentioned in the forms I filled (but hadn't talked specifically about). So either he actually took the time to read the forms or was just a good catch on his part. The best part was, that he was openly discussing both surgery and medicinal options. the previous doc was aggressively pushing surgery while completely ignoring questions about possible alternate options. Dr. Phan took the time to help me assess the risk and benefits on prolonged usage of nasal decongestants. All in all, very pleased.
To quote Seinfeld, "So you know how to make a reservation, you just don't know how to keep a reservation." Took my dad their half an our early just in case paperwork took a long time. Waited an additional 1HOUR! No apologies, no "we're running a lil behind today". Go in to see the doctor, asked a question about the medication he was prescribing to my dad and his response was "I'm the doctor. Just take the medicine." WTF right? Personally I would never go see this guy, however my dad insists that this be his primary so I put up with it. Be forewarned people. Now where is the zero star button.
If you care for ear, nose or throat stay away from him. Extremely unprofessional. The office stinks. Once I saw the front office I didn't feel like going inside. In the united health care site his education is listed as Stanford, but he is some unknown university which has some affiliation to Stanford, as from the certificate displayed in his office. I have already reported it to the insurance.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
