We are so incredibly grateful for Dr. Coggins care of my husband. He performed a cardiac ablation that eliminated his A-Fib for a few years. Then did it a second time in March. My husband has had zero episodes. And was able to eliminate one of his medications. We appreciated that Dr.Coggins takes so much time with his patients, answering all of our questions and explains things really well. I can't recommend him highly enough! Sadly he is retiring. But his care and treatment have been a godsend. We'll miss him and wish him a happy retirement. It is well deserved. He's the best!

THE WORST DOCTOR EVER.Never returns calls.Does not utilize patient portal.Does not follow-up with patients.Office staff is clueless.This is supposed to be a comprehensive cardiac office. it is NOT.

I would highly recommend Dr. Coggins if you have afib and would like to fix it. I have had 2 ablations. I was scared at first about someone messing with the electric parts of my heart, but he reassured me that I would feel so much better after. He was so correct. My last ablation was 4 years ago and have had no symptoms since and my heart is beating normally now.

First time visit, great professional office staff. Between all my heart doctors over the years, he is number one. Listened and explained my problem patiently and very professionally. Strongly recommended.

It is now one month since my procedure that was performed by Doctor Coggins and I could not be happier. My wife and I met with Doctor Coggins twice before my procedure. He was very patient and answered all of our questions. He also took the time to explain what might happen if anything went not as expected. I highly recommend Doctor Coggins to anyone that needs his expertise. Also I must say that the team at Good Sam was top notch. Not only did they know their jobs but they treated me with such great care and tenderness. In the prep area they knew I was nervous and they really helped to keep me calm. During the procedure I had someone sitting right by my head who was talking with me and making sure I was ok. In the recovery area the people were so kind and thoughtful. I had to lay still for 4 hours and that team never took their eyes off of me. They repositioned me whenever I requested it along with many other requests. I met with Dr. Coggins in April. Had a great meeting with him where he explained the procedure extremely well because time with us answered all of our questions. My wife, Virginia was impressed with the detail and helpfulness. Found the office and Robert was extremely friendly and efficient. Called him this afternoon and said let's get going. Operation was set in May. We just finished the procedure. To be honest, the experience was fantastic. The people were incredibly efficient, incredibly friendly, joyful. The nurses that check you in are just fabulous. At one point, I made the joke that I feel like I'm on a cruise line. But everybody was phenomenal. I went into the operating room and they were just a great group of people, people dedicated to what they're doing. They had tremendous concern for the patient, and quite frankly, very joyful and humorous. As it turned out a lot of us were born and raised in the area, and you can tell they are very diligent and really happy to be with Dr. Coggins. The surgery was phenomenal. Again, the nurses are fantastic. The breakfast this morning was great as well. I highly recommend the Texas style French toast. They also serve Starbucks coffee here, and it's not bad! In fact, it's pretty good. The whole thing was a great experience. Dr. Coggins came in and checked me out and went over the details of my recovery and what I needed to do. They were very thorough, very concerned, very helpful. Highly recommend this wonderful staff. It’s been about 4 weeks since surgery and I feel fantastic. This is an amazing doctor. He is very knowledgeable, has extreme patience, confident, excellent surgeon and caring. Sometimes there is a wait but he comes in smiling and concentrates on your condition.

Dr. Coggins is a great person, physician and surgeon. He was caring for my mother in law and did a successful ablation. He is very thorough, caring and patient. Answers the same questions we ask him, always takes his time and makes patients feel at ease. His experience gives him a great track record. Highly recommended!
