Tightly wound. Bad day?? Hate your job?

Sorry to say I was referred to Dr Ngo due to being the only referral neurologist for El Camino. He was completely cold and disengaged from his questions and treatment with my 82 yr old elderly father.. Its apparent he needs to find another line of work. Taking my father elsewhere

I vacillated whether or not to write this review but I think it would help Dr. Ngo (if he sees this) to become a better doctor. I took my 80 yr old father to see him 11/2021 for mild SVD (small vessel ischemic disease; white matter disease). Dr. Ngo asked questions and then put him through a test, he was extremely detached and cold while putting my father through the process, as a matter of fact his demeanor was that of annoyed for having to do his job. I was so close in abruptly stopping him to say it was clearly evident he hates his work and suggest he find another career. Needless to say I will be going to Stanford, which I should have done in the first place.

Dr. Ngo is kind, respectful and most of all knowledgeable. Best Neurologist I've seen.

Good Dr., listens well. Up to date on all the latest options and willing to work with you on plan that encompasses them.

I have RLS and have seen several Doctors about it. Dr. NGO has really helped me. He took more than enough time and really listened to my needs and concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Gno!

I'll never see this man again. My doctor referred me to him again and no way. He wrote items that had nothing to do with my visit, for instance, in an important criminal matter in which I had a concussion he passed off as "nothing bad." He asked me if I passed out, but my brain was so non-functional I said "no," when I should have said "I have no idea," as I had two hours of amnesia after the beating. Oh, and a "hematoma" on the back of my skull, which he passed off as from "tussling," which did not happen.Four months later I can't recall a 7 digit telephone number, when I used to be able to multiply in my head in powers of 2 up to tens of millions.I don't know what "professional" is meant to mean anymore.

Dry, ill bed side manner, discounts my input and inputs of my internal medicion. Very hard to get hold of anyone anyday. I switched to different doctor.

This Doctor was very unprofessional.and lack communication skills and experience he high minded ego he just stood back hardly engage in conversation or no interests in my history or condition he acted like i was bothering him to do his job very rude he act like he needs to see psychatrist himself instead of him practicing as neurologists i think.he like the idea of being dr but no skills how did he get degree he acted mad and felt threatened by him he dont specialize in sleep apnea very rude

I was really disappointed by the unprofessional way in which this doctor treated me. His body posture was one of boredom and he had no interest in helping me which was evident by his answer to my questions regarding pain management. He seemed put out by any time he had to extend in answering my questions. Then when I got his bill of $605 for an initial office visit I was appalled. It states for a 60 minute office visit but there was no way he spent that time.
