I read the reviews and thought this was a family friendly location but I did not feel welcome at all. Brought my son for first time glasses and expected they would be very thorough and explain to my child how to wear and care for them. They did not. I came with a prescription and was questioned about the validity of it. I was thrown off guard. Then they asked if I wanted them to do an exam because my insurance covered it. No thanks, just fill the prescription. I should have just left and gone somewhere else. When I asked to add options I was told kids normally don't get those. I wear glasses and the features are very helpful to me so I wanted them for my kid. Everyone should have Blue light filter these days. So I pay out of pocket for the extra features which seem exorbitant compared to what I've paid for my own and am told in 2-3 weeks they will be ready. 4 weeks go by without a phone call. I call and am told the glasses are there but the eye Dr is out and they want him there as backup because they still think the prescription is questionable. I make an appointment to pick up and the day of the dr is out sick. We still go get the glasses and once he puts them on he is happy. I ask them to show how the transitions work and how to clean the glasses using mine as an example. For all the uncertainty regarding the prescription I would have expected they do a mini vision exam with the glasses on to determine if they are good or not. Nope. Chose this place based on reviews and location but probably won't return.

I went to the same optometry office for over 20 years before switching to Dr. Kas, and I must say... I wish I'd switched sooner! Very pleasant experience and a nicely set up office.

Eye exam is god thoroughly One thing is they accepted insurance for exam but not glasses
