List of Kidsteps Pediatric Therapy's Reviews
My grandson has been seeing Scott for a few years now. I cannot say enough good things about the care and love he has received at Kidsteps. Not only is Scott experienced, he is kind, humorous and caring. He never gives up and, in the kindest way, keeps my grandson from giving up too.
We got excellent service. Sabrina is an awesome physiotherapist. My daughter is doing very well now. Thank you so much.
I had purchased a course online from a physical therapist that did not help my son learn to crawl after doing the suggested practices for 3 weeks (he army crawled for two months). Two days after my son saw Scott and he now crawls 100% of the time! Scott was experienced and personable and would 100% go back to him again if I have any other issues!
We had an amazing experience with Scott and the entire Kidstep team! From the very beginning, Scott made us feel so comfortable, treating our daughter, like his own. His warmth, kindness, and ability to connect with kids are truly special. Scott is not only fun and engaging but also incredibly competent, knowledgeable, and proactive. He tailors each session to fit Lia’s needs, always providing us with clear guidance and helpful advice. Thanks to his support, we’ve seen such wonderful progress, and we have always looked forward to our visits. A special shoutout to Anne at the front desk—she is incredibly responsive and made the entire insurance process smooth and stress-free. Her efficiency and friendliness added to our positive experience. Thank you, Scott and the Kidsteps staff, for making our visits so pleasant! We couldn’t recommend you more highly—you truly go above and beyond for every child.
This place is awesome, I took my son there and was amazed by their expertise, great manners and friendliness. Couldn't recommend it more!
Scott is a GREAT guy! He's knowledgeable and easy to talk to. It's an appointment we looked forward to because we know Scott will have good advice and tips for us. I think our little one has a blast there. The facility is spacious and clean. Whenever I leave there, I end up shopping online to get some of the toys I see there. I told Scott that even though our treatment is complete, we just might come back every once in awhile for checkups. You can never have too many good tips on postures and developmental ideas!
I was recommended this place by my pediatrician's office after I expressed concerns with my baby potentially favoring one hand over the other (and children this young shouldn't be showing signs of favor). My pediatrician recommended I talk to a pediatric physical therapist who could do proper evaluations. I called them and advised of our recommendation by my pediatrician and our concerns and they were able to schedule my baby immediately. It was out of my insurance network (BCBS) but most were so I was prepared to pay out of pocket. Let me tell you, Dr. Google was messing with me before our appointment. First time parents, avoid Dr. Google! Dr. Yamakoshi met my baby and immediately brought relief to my anxiety by explaining why she was doing what she did. He had extremely great skills with handling our baby and she didn't fuss at all through the assessment. He helped answered all our questions and provide valuable information, all in a way to calm our nerves and help us be comfortable. I'm so glad we brought our baby here and without question would recommend it to anyone needing pediatric PT.
Dr Scott is awesome! We came in seeking his help because my 2month old was exhibiting Torticollis. First off, we called so many physical therapist and he was the only one that worked with infants, I was so relieved. We found out that he was out of network with our insurance company, United Healthcare but with his help we were able to get an exemption so we were able to have him work with us. So far, I'm seeing a lot of improvement with my son, I'll highly recommend Dr Scott.
Absolutely the best PT. Scott built a strong connection with our son, and we had fantastic results in a very short time. Many thanks!
Dr. Yamakoshi is amazing. He is so good with kids. I took my first daughter here because she developed torticollis when she was 2 months. He worked with her until she was 9 months and by then, she was hitting all her milestones. He predicted when she will crawl and walk and he was accurate! We recently took our newborn there to make sure she doesn't t have torticollis as well. No complaints. However, they are not in network for any insurance. If you have a high deductible, expect to pay out of pocket for therapy.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
