Laughing Giraffe Therapy's Online Review Report Card

We’ve been coming to Laughing Giraffe occupational therapy clinic for over 10 years (with some breaks in between), and I can wholeheartedly say it’s one of the few truly neurodiversity-affirming spaces out there. The therapists here are not only skilled but also deeply accepting, compassionate, and attuned to the whole body-mind connection. What stands out the most is how individualized the care is—not just for the client, but for the whole family. The OTs consistently check in with parents, genuinely listen, and collaborate instead of pushing their own agenda. As a parent, I feel heard, supported, and part of the team. Our current therapist is absolutely wonderful. She allows my non-speaking teen to lead the session at their own pace while gently guiding them toward a variety of meaningful skills each week. It’s rare to find professionals who truly observe body language, respect autonomy, and align therapy with the client’s interests, needs, and readiness. Even though this is a private-pay clinic, they provide superbills for insurance reimbursement, and the quality of care is absolutely worth it. My child actually looks forward to going to therapy—a testament to the warmth, respect, and joy infused into each visit. The owner is just as incredible: enthusiastic, welcoming, and an excellent listener. This clinic is a gem in the therapeutic world, especially for families seeking respectful, individualized, and neurodiversity-affirming care.

I had heard great things about Laughing Giraffe over the years, and am glad I finally started my son in therapy here late last year. Our OT Cole has been amazing, as well as the owner, Aaron. It's such a welcoming, accepting environment for kids, and there's so many toys and equipment for kids to practice their motor skills + general skills to work on. Cole is very attuned to my son and they have always given great advice and insight. In addition, I appreciate the flexibility of the business itself. Many clinics are very strict in their requirements and are not very flexible in terms of scheduling. Laughing Giraffe is very understanding if you need to adjust your session times or take a break and keep your spot open, for example.

I have no words to describe how lucky we are to have found this amazing clinic and most of all, Aaron. Aaron is not only a phenomenal professional but also a truly exceptional person. His unique approach to children, along with his endless love, care and patience, sets him apart. He is exactly the kind of adult you would want in your child’s life. From my very first phone call with Aaron, I immediately felt I was in good hands and had finally found the right place after a long search. His passion, energy, and dedication are extraordinary, even after so many years of experience. He constantly strives to give more, empower and to bring out the best in every child. We have only been there for three months, and already it brings out the best in my son during each appointment from the first appointment. He is happy, confident, and fully engaged throughout the sessions, and the positive impact is clearly noticeable outside the clinic. The clinic itself is like heaven for kids, filled with games, facilities and crafts. My son loves going there from the very first moment. I truly hope you are fortunate enough to find an available time slot, as this clinic is in high demand and for good reason. It will make a meaningful and lasting impact on your child, starting from the very first appointment.

They have been amazing. Ms. Geneva helped target my sons needs and he is improving as compared to our experiences in other places we didn’t see much improvement. Everyone is kind, loving and support. We highly recommend this place.

We have only started a short while ago and I can already see a difference in my little girl. She is open to playing more with others and expressing her emotions. I’m so happy we found Laughing Giraffe, I feel both my children will grow and come into their own during their time here!

Our family has been working with Laughing Giraffe for more than 2 years. I have to say this is a really wonderful place. Aaron is a very kind, loving and accepting therapist. Most of all he is very creative. He has tons of ideas to play with kids and address different goals base on their needs. My son loves this place! Highly recommend!

LGT has been nothing short of wonderful for our little one on the autism spectrum. He attends OT sessions with Elana once a week and we've seen a lot of improvement in his fine motor skills. Elana makes sure to check in with us regarding goals, maintain consistency in activities and making sure the experience is fun and engaging for our child. Since LGT is not associated to any insurance providers, it gives them the added flexibility of working on skills typical insurance-funded OT providers would not, which is a huge plus for me. 100% recommend this place!

Laughing Giraffe has provided great OT support for my son for a very long time. Each therapist has been competent and reliable.

We have worked with a couple different therapists during the time our daughter has been coming here, and they have both been amazing! She is always excited and looking forward to her sessions, and has made so much progress all while thinking she is just playing games. It took a while to find a time that worked for our busy schedule, but it was absolutely worth the wait, can’t recommend them highly enough!
