Yesterday I saw Dr. Linda Wong, dermatologist at the Kaiser Permanente Crossroads Facility, for the second time, after she had found basal cell carcinoma on my nose. Dr. Wong is a polite, professional, and very knowledgeable dermatologist who doesn’t make a lot of small talk, but gets right to the issue at hand and to the appropriate treatment. She has a solid background and a lot of experience in her field of Medicine and knows what she is doing. She is understanding and respectful of the patient’s concerns. Having had other experiences with dermatologists over the years, I feel fortunate to be in her care.
I took my daughter for a visit expecting to receive the highest care available, only to find my daughter diagnosed. I later found out that this physician did not do any residency training in pediatric dermatology. I was upset by the fact that she had know training in her specialty. I quickly took her to another pediatric dermatologist outsideKaiser and had the problem solved. Be careful with this doctor.
