Sharon Bogerty's Online Review Report Card

Dr Bogerty is a wonderful doctor. She is taking care of my mother and has been doing a wonderful job. She saved my mother’s life with much needed surgery, she explains everything in detail in ways we can all understand.

I started to see Sharon couple of months ago after I got into car accident she is an amazing doctor very pleasant to talk to and also very informative of what I needed to do while I was on treatment she even went out of her way to worked with my work schedule she came in early to see me so it wouldn't effect my job I really highly recommended her. Sharon thank you for making me feel I was important patient.

Everything went as expected. Dr. Bogarty is a busy surgeon. She handled my Bronchoscopy expertly, and she has a great bedside manner. Her front office staff was very helpful getting my surgery expidited and dealing with my insurance company. I appreciate that she and her staff acknowledged that I am a busy person, and this surgery was necessary at a very inconvenient time. I highly recommend Dr. Bogerty. All the staff at O’Connor also told me that they think that she is the best!

Dr. Sharon Bogerty is dedicated and very caring doctor. As far as I am concerned there is nobody better to put your life in her hands. She is very positive and up to date on all the newest medical treatments .

Dr. Bogerty is the most positive doctor I have ever been to. Her experience is beyond words, she is up to date on the newest treatment available. She is at the top of her field for vascular surgery and cares about her patients. Melony takes care of Dr Bogerty's appointments and follows up with the patients with great compassion. I know I am in good hands and will not have to worry about the care is the best you can get.

Going to a "specialist" is nerve-racking enough. Since my Father's diagnosis it's been tough getting all the appointments and questions answered. From my 1st call to this office, Melony the coordinator showed us nothing but patience, caring and compassion. She handled every single detail, including scheduling other appointments for us to getting all his records. We showed up for our appointment, met the Great Dr. Bogerty. We had 6 family members and a million questions. We made our choice of care and the after care and million of calls were always ansered. My Father is now cancer free. The quality of care at this office is exellent. Long wait in the wing room at times but worth it

From the first point of contact this office was GREAT! Received a call from Melony to shedule my Mom's appointment. Her knowledge and expertise helped our family realize what was going on (her Dr.did not tell us anything). Once we met with Dr. Bogerty she went over my Mom's options and explained everything in detail. Before surgery we had to get a few tests done to make sure my Mom would be able to go through surgery. Thinking I had to go home and get all these tests scheduled, I did not. Melony coordinated everything from the 1st visit to testing right onto surgery day and follow up appointments. This office exceeded our expectations and wish other office had the same type of sincere concern for our family members.

This is my first Yelp review. I'm not a writer by any means, but I do want to express my appreciation to Dr. Bogerty and her staff. I believe the best way to show her how much I appreciate what she's done for my family and I is to write my experience. My dad was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. My dad was passed around to many doctors for over a month before we were told to see Dr. Bogerty. The other doctors could not give us clear guidance and did not seem to be as concerned as Dr. Bogerty. It was very frustrating to say the least.Melony, the receptionist, was very nice. She seemed very compassionate about my father's issue. Melony not only requested all the necessary documents from my dad's doctors but made it her priority to get everything ready for the last minute appointment.Dr. Bogerty is extremely patient and caring about my dad, she was very focused in understanding my dad's complaints about how he was feeling. It was the very first doctor that I've seen who made me feel as if they really cared. Yes, most doctor we've previously seen were nice, but they didn't seem to care as much as Dr. Bogerty. My dad's left leg has been getting weaker for some time now. Every time my dad expressed this problem to other doctors they would consider as a separate issue and did not look further into it, but Dr. Bogerty checked my dad's leg and expect that it may be caused by his cancer (she was right. PET scan showed there was cancer on his leg). She then continued to explain to us from the information she gathered that she was afraid his tumor (at that time it was not diagnosed as cancer yet) may be obstructing his airway. The way she explained it to us did not give us a feeling of fear or hopelessness, but she did make us realize it something urgent that must be done immediately before things got worse. She then proceeded to give us her plan of action and she coordinated with all the other doctor that needed to be involved. She took care of everything for us. The doctors from there on out knew my dad's situation without us explaining every detail over again. I am certain it was because Dr. Bogerty have already talked to all the doctors before they saw my dad.My dad stayed in the hospital over two weeks. I saw Dr. Bogerty at the hospital almost every day. She filled us in on my dad's situation and told us the next steps. We didn't feel like we were left in the dark anymore. She even came in to talk to us on Sundays. One time I asked her did she ever get a day off, she replied "No" and that her patients' needs to been seen. I must say when I first read all the Yelp reviews about Dr. Bogerty I was very skeptical. I'm not sure why other people had a bad experience with her. She seem to be very caring and is focused on getting the right treatment in the fastest way possible. She is truly a great doctor. She's dedicated to her patients.
