Timothy T. Nguyen's Online Review Report Card

This place is a rip off. I went for a implant consultation. They never verbally communicated with me that there is a charge for the consultation, otherwise I would have walk out. Since then, I received an Explanation of Benefits Statement in the mail stating that they charged my dental insurance for $250 for the consultation. In addition, they tried to put a claim through for $200 for a x-ray of my teeth through my insurance, even though I have paid them already through my FSA card (see below). ___________________ Claim DetailsClaim Details Claim Number: 396230416D0000201 Source: Debit Card Receipt Status: Not Needed Paid: $200.00 _________________ They quoted me over $6,000 for 2 implants. This is not including the crown that needs to be put in afterward from my dentist. Dr. Timothy Nguyen is arrogant and full of himself. He walks in and didn't introduce himself or even said "hi". I am amazed that no one reported him to the Better Business Bureau. The staff there wasn't any better. No customer service. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I never usually write reviews, but after having such a great experience, I had to. I was really nervous since I seen some bad reviews on here, but I'm glad I decided to go anyways. I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed and I healed amazingly. A few hours after the procedure I was able to talk normally and was no longer bleeding or in any pain at all. Although the healing process is different for everyone, I think that they did a great job on my procedure. During the consultation and the surgery, everyone was so nice and answered any questions I had. I decided to get put to sleep because I was very anxious about being awake. When I woke up, someone told me it only took 20 minutes which was really quick. I'm now 2 weeks post-op and I'm pretty much almost fully healed.

Very good experience. He knows what he's doing and i had very little swelling despite getting all 4 removed at once. The local anesthetic worked well but the stitching process was very uncomfortable ( high pressure, not pain, so no avoiding it). Process is quick if you can handle it. Only thing i didnt like was this teenage(?) looking boy hanging around in gaudy clothes. Maybe a family member of the staff just shadowing. No introductions at all though so i thought it was kind of rude. Cost was high imo but recovery went well. I developed a tiny bone spur (natural) a little ways from one former wisdom tooth a month later but it went away on its own a week later.

As I had contacted several other dentist and no one would take me in and no other dentist was willing to help me with my case. The pain is gone now, and I want to thank you for seeing me and helping me Dr. I want to thank the front desk staff, the dental assistants, and the Dr. for helping me with tooth pain that I had. As for the Dr., I want to thank him for taking the time out of his busy schedule to help me.As I know you had a busy schedule, I appreciate the speed with which you handled my case. While I am grateful for your fast services, the most important thing is that you ensured I wasn't in any pain during the procedure. My experience with this dental practice was the Best I've ever had. I highly recommend it. There is no doubt that this doctor is a true professional who is capable of handling dental issues.

I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen as he is a very experienced and skilled oral surgeon. I had a very rare tumor called Ameloblastoma in my jaw bone, ate a hole in the bone and the roots of a few teeth. I consulted with 2 other oral surgeons and neither had any confidence to perform surgery on it and planned to refer me to UCSF. Luckily I found Dr. Nguyen thru Yelp, and he actually treated 2 other patients w/ this condition in the prior 12 months! The surgery was very successful (removed the tumor + 4 impacted teeth), no complications and the wound healed quickly each time. After the bone healed, Dr. Nguyen also performed implants for the 4 extracted teeth, and now life is back to normal again thanks to Dr. Nguyen and his staff! My regular dentist was also impressed w/ Dr. Nguyen's work and she actually requested for his referral slips. Dr. Nguyen's office is clean, modern, has all essential equipment on-site (incl. CT Scan), you can get everything done there and get results immediately. His staff are also on top of things and respond/follow-up to my inquiries promptly. What else can one ask for from an oral surgeon!?!

I had a horrible experience with the premolar removal process at this orthodontic office. They don't treat you as human, the orthodontic are very rude and also the staff. I do not recommend this orthodontic to my friends or anyone.

I had my two lower wisdom teeth removed with Dr. Nguyen last month, and I 100% recommend him to anyone looking to have oral surgery. I waited until now (I'm 29 YO) to have my wisdom tooth (don't recommend waiting BTW- get them out asap). The consequences to me waiting was getting a horrible infection which felt worse than labor contractions lol. My wisdom teeth were so impacted. I was soooooo nervous to get them out, hence why I delayed it so much. Consultation was a breeze. You have to understand Dr. Nguyen is very well versed in what he does so he's very busy and in high demand. Consultation will be quick and to the point. They offer payment plans if needed and the front is so efficient and friendly. The day of my wisdom tooth went soooooo smooth. He literally removed my huge wisdom teeth in just a couple minutes. My roots were so long and had wrapped around a nerve. Thankfully no nerve was harmed in the process because of his great hands! I was eating regular food 4 days after. My cheeks barely got swollen. Healing process was wayyyyy quicker than I expected. Thank you Dr Nguyen for everything!

Dr. Timothy is the best oral surgeon, hands down. I've been to him twice and his procedure is so smooth. He really truly knows what he's doing. He is super reassuring and makes sure that you are comfortable. Though his prices are a bit high, I wouldn't go to anyone else. I recommend Dr. Timothy to everyone.

I had a terrible experience with the wisdom teeth removal process at this orthodontic office. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and they seemed to have little concern for my comfort or well-being during the procedure. The actual surgery was painful and took much longer than I was told it would. I was left with significant swelling and discomfort for days after the procedure, and the recovery process was much more difficult than I had anticipated. I was also unhappy with the cost of the procedure, which was much higher than other quotes I had received from other orthodontists. Overall, I would not recommend this office to anyone seeking wisdom teeth removal services. The level of care and professionalism was completely unacceptable, and I would advise others to look for a more reputable and compassionate orthodontic office.

I got my 4 wisdom teeth removed here. I paid out of pocket and would say the prices were good. It was slightly lower than what I was quoted from other places. They were very helpful with filling things out and answering all my questions. My appointment got rescheduled but I didn't have to wait long for the next one. I was in and out in about an hour. I even got a little bag of things to take home. Considering I'm usually not good with dentists, this was a good experience. After the appointment I had some issues with the medicine but he answered the call even late at night and gave me advice and told me to call again in a couple hours if the issues persist. I'd recommend Dr. Timothy Nguyen!
