List of Ting Tsai's Reviews
Horrible doctor. Agree with others who say she has a terrible bedside manner. She’s incredibly rude, insensitive and can’t relate to patients. Save yourself a big waste of time!!
Dr. Tsai was the "on-call" cardiologist for my doctor on Saturday when I was released from the hospital, after undergoing a Cardioversion to shock my heart back into sinus rhythm. I needed to have a prescription filled for Eliquis, but my insurance required prior authorization and getting that through the bureaucracy over the weekend was not at all likely to happen. Dr. Tsai to the rescue. She clearly explained why I needed to continue taking the Eliquis without interruption in the first 30 days after the cardioconversion. Then she volunteered to go to her office and get me a sample so I would not be without it during this critical time. I cannot thank her enough for the time and effort she spent to solve my problem. She is a doctor that puts patient's needs first.
I was assigned Dr. Tsai at Good Samaritan. Her bedside manner has something to be desired. I had passed out and hit my head very hard on concrete suffering a hemorrhagic stroke. No one knew what caused it. I had had gastric sleeve surgery 1.75 years earlier and lost 210 pounds. Without telling me I was placed on a cardiac diet. She put a loop recorder in me to monitor my heart, that was done while I was on the way for an MRI, pulled me into an alcove and inserted the thing in me. I was NEVER told I would have a copay. When I asked her and staff what about time differences for the monitor? No one could provide an answer. To test them, I did not use the unit for 2 weeks, no one ever contacted me. I did not feel they were entitled to a copayment. I sent a letter to the office; no reply. They sent me to collection. Another cardiologist removed the loop recorder, I saw Tsai was still trying to bill for the unit after it had been removed. Just looking for $$. No care for the patient.
I was assigned Dr. Tsai at Good Samaritan. Her bedside manner has something to be desired. I had passed out and hit my head very hard on concrete suffering a hemorrhagic stroke. She kept wanting to create the same condition that caused me to pass out; almost with glee. After a stroke, I did not wish this to happen. No one knew what caused it. I had had gastric sleeve surgery 1.75 years earlier and ...
My cardiologist, Dr. Stephen Green, recently retired and was replaced by Dr. Tsai. She has monitored my pacemaker (to counter Afib) and medications for two years. She recently replaced my failing pacemaker (battery lifetime) with a new upgraded model. She is a knowledgeable, personable cardiologist and surgeon. All of my expectations were fulfilled. I have awarded her my "5 Golden Star award" for competency and caring.
I saw my PCP Dr on monday 1/7 for frequent irregular heart beat. I am type 1 diabetic and at high risk. Left a voice mail message at Dr Tsai's office Monday. Called tuesday morning first thing never was able to speak to someone but left another message. Tried calling countless times. Either got voice mail or the phone rings endlessly Called my referring Dr and they were not able to get through to Dr Tsai's office. They referred me to another cardiologist. Ironically they finally called me as I was being seen by another cardiologist 48 hrs after I first reached out to Dr Tsai's office.
Dr Tsai is very professional and caring. She has a great ability to relax nervous patients like myself while helping with my health goals
Dr. Tsai did not respond when I was in the EMERGENCY ROOM with acute chest pain and was brought in by 911. She is/was my cardiologist and she would not get on the phone! I faxed ER file and no response. Response to ER doc saying I needed stress test immediately was no. NO RESPONSE to 3 phone calls and 2 faxes from pharmacy about needing a prescription to a med she was trying on me. And lastly, no response to fax for gym persmission.
Dr. Tsai, I have no complaints about Dr. Tsai. The problem I am having is trying to make an appt. that she requested of me for a return visit in one month. I have called the office on Tuesday and Thursday of this week, receptionist passes my call to appt. desk. I leave my name and number but do not receive a call back. I understand they are busy, but after 72 hours of waiting for return call, I am very disappointed in their office staff and the setup for return appts. and call back.
I met Dr. Tsai while in Good Samaritan inpatient. She calmly and clearly explained my newly found heart condition and set up a follow up after my release. She is thorough and kind. I highly recommend her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
