List of Urgent And Primary Care First Street's Reviews
We visited this urgent care today July 27 afternoon. This urgent care is horrible. The doctor (provider) refused to help or even see the patient since the patient was dealing with vomiting. The MA at reception explicitly said the provider does not want to see patients who are nauseous. This totally unethical and unacceptable behavior. Won’t recommend this urgent care. They had explicitly asked us to go to any other urgent care or ER and said that any other place would be able to help us but them.
Avoid – Predatory Billing and Unwarranted Upcharges Think twice before booking a routine wellness visit at El Camino Health (North First Street). My husband and I scheduled separate appointments on 12/18/25 for our standard, fully covered annual physicals (Dr. Angela Chen). We made it clear we were only there for preventive care and raised zero health complaints, yet we were both hit with surprise bills for extra office visits. They used basic, provider-led screening questions to pad my file - generating an unwanted physical therapy referral and an unrequested MRI order - as an excuse to tack on a $431 charge without my consent. Worse, they billed me under CPT code 99213, claiming they provided a separate, problem-focused evaluation. This is completely fabricated: my husband and I went into the exam room together, and the doctor spent a combined total of only 20–25 minutes on both of us. There is physically no way the provider spent the time required to justify this extra code. When I formally disputed the charge, their billing department stonewalled me for months. Instead of routing this to a compliance or audit team, they told me to request my own records and handle the appeal myself. They are actively exploiting standard doctor-patient conversations to sneak in hidden fees. Avoid this clinic if you expect honest, transparent healthcare.
Avoid - Deceptive "Double Billing" Practices Be incredibly careful coming here for a routine annual checkup (Dr. Angela Chen). My wife and I went to El Camino Health (North First Street) strictly for our routine (separate appointments, of course), fully covered annual physicals on 12/18/25. We explicitly stated we had no new concerns, yet we were hit with surprise "double bills" for extra office visits. They used standard, brief physical observations - like noting earwax and generating an unrequested specialist referral - as an excuse to tack on massive hidden fees without our consent. Worse, they billed me under CPT code 99204. This is legally a New Patient code requiring 45–59 minutes. This is completely false: seeing a new doctor within the same practice does not make a returning patient "new," and my wife and I were in the exam room together for a combined total of only 20-25 minutes. When confronted, their billing department dragged their feet for months, hiding behind fine print instead of correcting a clear coding error. They are using doctor-patient conversations to mine for upcharges rather than provide transparent care. Avoid this clinic if you want honest medical billing.
Staff are very friendly & helpful.
I recently consulted with Dr. Buff Greider for multiple sports-related injuries. He listened carefully to my concerns, helped me better understand my condition, and gave me the confidence and medical advice I needed to get back to training. I highly recommend him.
Strange! It has been several months since this visit occured. Why am i just now receving a questionaire?
The facility says it strives for 5stars, but really they are striving to keep up 1 star. I’ve been here twice, and both the times, I was made to wait over an hour and given a random reason for the wait. Even if it’s an urgent issue, they do not care. Please stay away and find a better doctor/hospital. I know that after my last visit, I am going to find a better facility.
I would describe the staff as apathetic. Called in for blood work and confirmed twice on the phone that the lab is open until 445. Took off work, came, and was informed they close at 330. It was 340. No one is in the lobby, it's not like I was taking time away from their busy day here.
Very Professionals !!!
I work with intellectually disabled adults and often take them to their medical appointments. With a background in Healthcare Administration, I am often broken hearted at the lack of care my clients recieve. I have been shocked at how many medically trained Dr's wont even say "Hi" or acknowledge my clients or even attempt to communicate with my clients. So many Dr's rush you in and out and this is sadly especially true with intellectually disabled clients, IMO, who often need help the most. Today I brought one of my clients to see Dr Buff at El Camino Health Urgent Care and was so impressed with this Dr!!! My client is not very verbal and has mood swings constantly and Dr Buff worked with him amazingly. I believe he is very experienced with the intellectually disabled. He asked him questions, asked me questions and went out of his way to help my client with a wound. My client felt so comfortable with Dr. Buff, which is not usually the case with other Drs. Dr. Buff even walked us out to our car after the appointment and helped me assist my client with getting in the vehicle. Dr Buff even went out of his way to call me later the same evening to check on my client. Thank you so much Dr Buff!!! We need more Dr's like you who actually care about people and don't treat us like a number. THANK YOU DR BUFF!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
