Vijaya Dudyala's Online Review Report Card

Doctor Dudyala clearly cares for her patients however something needs to change. I have been seeing Dr. Dudyala for about a year now. I take medications that I need to take constantly for some health issues I have. They require that I schedule an appointment every 3 months with them to check in and make sure I'm okay before they will prescribe them. Sounds good to me! So I schedule my appointments. About 2 weeks or so before my appointment, it gets canceled. Okay, cool glad you let me know. But then I go to reschedule it and the next one isn't for another 2 weeks which is when my 3 months will be up so I'm like okay that's fine. Get a call a week later saying that that appointment has been canceled. So I go to reschedule it, and the new appointment date is now more than a month later than the original. Which means it is definitely past three months since they have last seen me. But since it's their fault surely it'll be okay for just this one time. Nope! I try to get my medications refilled and they won't refill them and they don't tell me why. I keep trying to refill them assuming that maybe they'll communicate with me since you can't actually call the office directly you have to go through a menu that doesn't even remotely acknowledge your problem but they don't. Eventually I just give up and call and use the appointment option, the lady is completely puzzled why they won't tell me. She is completely removed from the situation, why can't I call my doctor's office directly? So I finally get an answer, it's that I don't have an appointment scheduled. I literally HAVE an appointment scheduled. It's on the schedule (on their MyChart app!!!! I can see it!) So I message them now through the portal and they finally prescribe my medications. There is literally no reason not to give me my medication as it is the thyroid hormone my body doesn't produce enough of. I would experience symptoms that could severely impact my quality of life which is why it's monitored closely! However denying me medication is not monitoring it and holding my medication hostage so I make an appointment with a provider is no way to treat a patient. I will be seeing a new provider because of this.

I'm so pleased that Dr. Dudyala is my Dr. After major heath issues and family illness that required me to become a care giver, Dr. Dudyala really broke down to me what was going on and what I needed to do to improve my situation. She addressed me with care and compassion but was clear that I was responsible to make the changes. I respect her professionally and feel safe with her as my Dr. My health has been improving under her care!

Dr, Dudyala is an experienced and attentive doctor. I appreciate her professional, thorough, pleasant demeanor. Highly recommend her!

This doctor has little to no experience practicing in any medical fields and should not be trusted with your health. Expect outrageous bills for little to no support or service from el Camino in general.

She is a great doctor I'm happy with her
