List of Western Dental & Orthodontics's Reviews
They made me a set of partial dentures, upper and lower, and they won’t fit at all. The dentist who attended to me, Dr. Sheth ( I read all the recent reviews and the past reviews, first time ever for her name to be mentioned by a consumer, full name mind you, Dr. Madhavi Sheth, way to boost her credibility after several complaints I’ve made) won’t adjust it again after one try of adjusting it, said to me to wear them regardless of all the sores and pain, just endure it until they naturally fit my gums and my mouth gets used to it. Well, they don’t!! How can a set of dentures naturally fit my gums and my mouth gets used to it when it doesn’t fit in the first place?? I complained several times, even reached out to the Dental Board of CA twice, didn’t resolve it, “saying no violation found blah blah blah, that if it involves a refund or a staff being rude, we cannot help you…..” I mean, what kind of institution is that?? I don’t want any dentist or any professional to be stripped their license off of them!! I don’t care for that, I just need my money back because I am paying for something that I cannot use at all! If you all want to waste a $3000 worth of nothing from this clinic, and to be treated with zero dignity and respect at any Western Dental branch (the rudest one is in Blossom Hill, take note, I was never cranky, I was always nice and respectful to begin a conversation with), go on, be a customer! Because, I for one, did not listen to all the bad reviews. I still gave my trust and caved in. And now here I am, still paying for CareCredit with no benefits to me….. 🤷🏻♀️ 😠
Everything good.
0 stars... I had an extremely frustrating experience with Western Dental that spanned several months and ultimately reflected serious issues with communication, customer service, and patient care. In January, I attempted to schedule an appointment over the phone. The customer service representative told me that I needed to contact my insurance company before booking. I followed up with my insurance provider, who confirmed that everything was in order and that I could simply call Western Dental to schedule an in-network appointment. When I called back, a different representative informed me that my insurance was not yet assigned to their location. I found myself stuck in the middle, repeatedly going back and forth between Western Dental and my insurance company, receiving conflicting information from both sides. The process became so confusing and frustrating that I eventually canceled the appointment altogether. To make matters more confusing, on the day of the canceled appointment, I received a call from Western Dental informing me that I had missed my appointment and asking whether I wanted to reschedule. This only reinforced my impression that there was a lack of coordination and communication within the office. Six months later, I decided to give the office another chance and called to schedule a cleaning. Given my previous experience, I was already apprehensive about interacting with customer service. Fortunately, the representative I spoke with who was able to confirm a cleaning appointment for the following day. When I arrived for my 10:00 a.m. appointment, the front desk informed me that they could not perform the cleaning and that I first needed an examination and diagnosis. That policy is understandable, and I had no issue with it. However, when I asked how long the appointment would take, I was told that despite having a 10:00 a.m. appointment, the wait time would be approximately an hour and a half. The waiting room already was packed. My biggest concern is not necessarily the office procedures or scheduling structure. I understand that healthcare offices can run behind and that unexpected delays happen. My concern is the quality of customer service. Throughout my interactions, I encountered staff members who came across as dismissive, impatient, and unhelpful. Whether due to a stressful morning or ongoing workplace challenges, patients should still be treated with professionalism and respect. One interaction in particular stood out to me. An older Asian woman at the front desk was clearly trying to communicate that she did not speak English. Rather than proactively finding a solution, the staff repeatedly asked her what language she spoke without making any apparent effort to bridge the communication gap. A simple translation service or translator app could have gone a long way in helping her feel supported and understood. Healthcare settings serve diverse communities, and cultural competence, patience, and kindness should be standard expectations. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling that these qualities were lacking. Based on my interactions, this office appears disorganized and in need of significant improvement in both communication and customer service.
Thanks doctor Ho , I am so happy when I see doctor take care my teeth’s . Again thank you very much
Super slow, worst customer service.
I'm wondering if they already fired the clerk man. He needs to get a life because all he does is being cranky to his customers/patients
They will not do white fillings on back teeth even if your insurance covers it! They do not tell you this until after they take all of your xrays and do your exam, so you are stuck having to pay for them out of pocket if you want to go somewhere else.
During the process of the braces of my 2 daughters everything was good however the fact that the person on customer service didn’t go to any type of education about how to treat customer and doesn’t not have idea of what customer service means I will give 1 start and I highly recommend DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION, the service is not cheap actually you are paying a lot of money and on top of that you have to be handling a bitter person that is not happy with his life and he treat customer bad and very rude is not worthy, his name is MARK, he is in charge of orthodontics.
please do not go to western dental find any other place and go there ask other dentist for their opinion this is terrible corporation, I was turning 21 in less than 3 month and I was in Medi-Cal Dental they drill 12 completely health tooth because they could change insurance, a few years later I am dental student and I would never suggest anybody to go to this extremely eval corporation, every single dentist in that office they should take their license away.
Fast and efficient very good service. Good customer service 👌

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
