I found Dr Spanogle to have that rare combination of being a highly skilled surgeon and yet a lovely, compassionate person. I have suffered with skin cancer, a terrible disfiguring disease, since I was 27 years old and I was very nervous when I had to have 5 mohs surgeries this year. I have had poor outcomes and unpleasant experiences in the past. I was very relieved that my experience with Dr. Spanogle was just the opposite. Dr. Spanogle did a beautiful job and I was so amazed at how incredible the outcome was! He and his team are such wonderful people who do everything to put you at ease. I am so glad that I found Dr. Spanogle and you will be too. I give him the highest recommendation and praise.

It’s very stressful to have a skin cancer on your nose, especially your first one, and I definitely was not looking forward to my Moh's surgery appointment. Dr. Spanogle and his staff were excellent at making me feel less stressed. I was really worried about the scar, but it’s been a few months now and you really can’t see any scar on my nose. No one notices I had surgery. Though I hope I never have to go through something like this again, I’m very happy with how things went. I recommend highly.

Given my anglo skin and the fact that I grew up in Los Angeles in the 70s , I've been to a lot of dermatologists. Dr. Spanogle is the best. He correctly identified a basal cell lesion on my ear when others hadn't. Very intelligent and a gracious listener.

Dr. Spanogle is an excellent physician - communicative, thorough, intelligent, thoughtful and prompt, and appropriately careful about disinfection. The dermatology procedures he performed were done very well. The staff at Solano Dermatology is also very good.

Dr. Spanogle is the best dermatologist I have ever had. He has removed numerous skin cancers I have had over the years without any issues.

Dr. Spanogle continues to exceed my expectations and provide wonderful care for my squamous cell in situ carcinoma. He has been attentive, skillful, timely and thorough in all of his interactions. Dr. Spanogle is such a fantastic surgeon. He has that rare combination of incredible skill and a wonderful bedside manner! At all times you feel how compassionate he is for his patients. When I had to have 5 cancers removed from my face and ears this year I worried what I would look like when it was over. I couldn't have been more pleased with how incredible this outcome was! I had to have a basal cell carcinoma removed from my left cheek, near my nose. Somewhat nervous to begin with (this is not a pleasant situation!), my trepidation quickly vanished. Dr. Spanogle and all the staff at NFDA were nothing short of amazing. After the only little discomfort of the numbing needle stick, the rest of the procedures were literally painless. In two passes I was free of the carcinoma. His professionalism, care, pleasantness, and skill were matched with that of all the staff!
