Unfortunately, the more than attentive and skillful Dr. Ju retired. Dr. Feibelman has taken over his practice and is sporting a less-than-attentive attitude. The answers to some of the questions I have asked him regarding my skin have been incorrect, and the basic treatment he has administered has been much less effective than when Dr. Ju did the same procedure. I have visited the office several times and will definitely not be returning.

Welp, I sought medical advice & treatment from the Skin Institute in San Leandro. Dr. Werner retired and now Dr. Cary Feibleman has taken over. He saw me for hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating). We ONLY talked about meds that could counteract this annoying diagnosis. I ended up with a prescription for skin whitening cream. I love my skin tone and was thoroughly insulted when I called the doctor's office about it I was screamed at by the front office Maria and told that it was what the doctor ordered, "and that's what you get." I tried explaining that I love my Carmel mocha skin and never asked the doctor to treat me to whiten my skin. furthermore, I didn't write the orders, nor did I transcribe to doctor's orders - I was berated when I told these incompetent nursing assistants the Rx was erroneous. "The Apotheco Pharmacy Choice Bay Area in Pleasanton ( one of the pharmacies this clinic uses) also accused ME of giving them the wrong prescription. We all know that only a doctor can write prescriptions not the patient! Steer clear of both entities. Dr. Fiebleman was very attentive, kind, and informative professional physician, but the medical assistants NA's, & even front office staff are not professional, and will cuss you out in Spanish. I know because I recorded, and had the conversation translated, and I also know a few curse words in Spanish. The staff obviously cannot transcribe MD orders, which is scary for the patient. You've been warned.

Two stars for my experience with the receptionist this morning. I called to make an appointment for my husband who would be considered a new patient, which i mentioned upfront. I had seen Dr. Werner in the past at his San Mateo office before he retired from there and is finishing up in his second office in San Leandro. I had told him about my husband's skin condition (psoriasis) and he suggested I schedule an appointment at his other office before he retires from practice in June. My husband has been seeing his regular Dr and a specialist for years now with no improvements so he was skeptical about me scheduling time with Dr. Werner. His hand is severely dry and bleeds from the cracks so I convinced him to give it a try. I called today to schedule an appointment and the receptionist tells me that Dr Werner is not accepting new patients. I explain to her that I'm aware of it since I saw Dr Werner earlier this year and he had suggested I make an appt at his other office. She repeats what she said because "that was what was communicated to them and asks me to schedule with someone else". I ask her why Dr Werner would ask me to schedule if he wasn't taking new patients and she says it's because he doesn't know when his final date would be. I then ask for his contact email/info hoping to confirm but the receptionist said "no I'm not giving it to you, you are not going to go over me to get to him" and then mentions it's due to his privacy. At this point I'm talking to a wall. I ask for her name and she gives it to me and thinks it's necessary to include that she's been with Dr. Werner for 22 years. I say thank you and hang up. The reason I am giving a two star and not one star is because I understand that there are policies to follow. She is probably doing her job. But the low rating is due to the lack of empathy and customer care. She could have checked with Dr. Werner first before pushing me off to another doctor. If my husband wasn't already seeing other Drs. that aren't helping I would be open. But there's a reason we're trekking to San Leandro seeking help. She also didn't need to be snippety by adding unnecessary comments about her tenure at the company.

Once you make it past the rude front desk receptionist, you will pleasantly greeted by Dr Ju's assistant in a very friendly and professional manner. She took me into an exam room and was promptly greeted by Dr Ju. Dr Ju and I got to talking about fishing and I felt very warm and comfortable with him. He examined my concern and promptly had a diagnosis and made an appointment for treatment. I returned a short time after for my treatment appointment and once again dealt with the rude receptionist. As before I was greeted by Dr Ju's friendly assistant and was taken in to a room where Dr Ju came in and processed to treat me in a very professional and friendly manner. Great doctor and highly recommend.

I have a good experience with Dr. Ju every time I visit. He is attentive, caring and he gets the job done. I wish I could recommend my daughter, but she is under a different insurance.

I am only giving Dr. Ju one star because his staff was very nice. I have parasites that I contracted while swimming in a lake. When I got the referral I thought finally someone will help me. Big mistake. Dr. Ju said that I did not have parasites and tried to prescribe a drug for people who have what's called "delusional parasitosis" He said that he was "100% sure" that they were all imagined. When I showed him a photo of an 11-inch worm clearly visible on my abdomen, he said it was a scratch. I was shocked. He shut me down and actually laughed at me. I have no appetite and I am losing weight big-time. I get dizzy at times and I can feel the parasites moving around in my body. The service I got from Dr. Ju was zero and I feel cheated for having to pay my deductible.

We have been seeing Dr Ju for years and been pretty pleased with him. Recently, he refused to see our family because we were not vaccinated. We couldn't believe how he discriminated against us based on our personal medical decisions. In some states, this kind of harassment would be a $5,000 fine. Since when did Dr Ju, a dermatologist, become an expert in immunology and virology? Experts told us not to get the vaccine. We were not sick and had no symptoms when we went to see the doc and he refused to see us. He would never discriminate against a patient with polio or AIDS! Dr Ju needs to put his own political agenda behind him, stick to dermatology and let experts in immunology make the medical decisions with their patients that pertain to their immune health. Shame on Dr Ju! We were no threat to anyone around us. Both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated can get and spread Covid. It should be a personal choice and Dr Ju should respect our personal medical decisions instead of making us feel dirty and second class. Needless to say, we found another dermatologist who focuses on our dermatology needs and leaves our immune decisions up to us and our other doctor. Again, shame shame shame on Dr Ju!!!!

They deny you care if you aren't vaccinated for Covid, even though a Covid vaccine doesn't prevent you from catching Covid. My mom now cannot go in for her treatments, which are medically necessary. Completely unacceptable to deny medically necessary healthcare based on vaccination status. This place should be ashamed of themselves! If I could give 0 stars and spread the word further I would!

Horrible results from this Dr!!! Took my copay and more topicals that didn't work. Misdiagnosed my condition. Will never go back. Dr Ju almost feel asleep treating me.

The front desk lady is mean and she was yelling at me. I never ever walk in to a office that was this rude to me ever. She was not willing to help me at all. All she cares it's my insurance and my money. This place is horrible and I wouldn't recommend to my family. And if I post one star, I would. Don't go here if you are look for a doctor that cares about you.
