Anthony Ciarolla's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Anthony Ciarolla is a fabulous oncologist. I have no words to describe how grateful I am to him. I am alive thanks to him, and the surgeon he found to perform the difficult surgery I had ahead. He is a 5 stars oncologist.

This doctor does not have a care in the world about his patients especially if they’re old

Dr. Ciarolla provided me with competent and timely care during a very difficult time. His staff were efficient, kind, and reflective of the quality of care that I received, and continue to receive, under Dr. Ciarolla's guidance. I am eternally grateful to them all.

My visit was before the pandemic and I was very frustrated by the office not being available so many times. The staff then told me they didn't have my results. When I berated the hospital whom I thought hadn't been efficient . I learned that the office had been emailed my results the day after I had my exam. I was sad about my choice of oncologists when I found I felt my interests were not in their purview. I didn't complain at the time, but now a friend has found the same with this office. They don't return phone calls when they say they will and , perhaps it is because of split loyalties, but it doesn't feel like an efficient office. I'm very disappointed with my choice of doctors.

My mom has seen this doctor 1 time for anemia in the last year. He set her up with a standing blood order. She has never seen or heard from him again. She as asked numerous times to have his findings sent to her PC doctor. She even signed a release to no avail. I would not recommend him.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Ciarolla since 2006. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate. He will always seek the best available treatment for his patients. The members of his team are efficient, hardworking and are always happy to help anyway they can. I highly recommend this doctor!

He’s is not helpful, pushes his patients off on his PA, doesn’t explain anything. More interested in patients at his other offices than the Long Beach one. Not surprised when my IPA didn’t renew their contract with his practice

I needed a CT ordered for my neck, chest, abdomen & pelvis. All 4 parts. Well the Dr forgot to put neck on the order. I saw that & called his office, they said they fixed it. When it came time to get my CT the tech says that the neck wasn’t included. The imaging center didn’t update the new order apparently. Lots of mistakes made and it started with Ciarolla. However, the lack of acknowledgement of any wrongdoing on his part is why he gets a 1 star.

i went to him for blood issues , he told me i was wrong , then put negative remarks in my chart ,saying i lied about the amount of issues i had been treated for . my Dr let me know what he wrote .i ended up going to a university for treatment! they found i not only had been honest ,i had more issues than they had seen before in one patient . too bad his ego got in the way of treating a patient that really needed him !
