Jeffrey Bloom's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Bloom has been my Primary Care Provider for over 25 years. He and his entire staff are competent, professional, caring and courteous. Dr. Bloom is very thorough, ordering appropriate lab tests when needed, and has not hesitated to refer me to specialists when needed. He communicates well with patients as well as other local health care professionals, so that I feel I have a network of care providers looking out for my health. We live in era in which health care has, to a great extent, become part of corporate America, wherein physicians are part of large practices with large, busy staffs. A patient can get good care, but the experience seems rather impersonal. One of the things I like about Dr. Bloom's practice is that I feel that they know me, and I know them. It's more personal. I consider myself very fortunate to receive my health care from such a practice.

Seeking a physician upon arriving to the Central Coast 10 years ago, Dr. Bloom was recommended to me as "brilliant and caring."  I'll take brilliant and caring!  He has been my  primary care physician this past decade, and I am completely confident in his expertise and manner.  He is knowledgeable and professional in all interactions and is diligent about being thorough and responsive.  He is present and open and willing to listen and consider what I have to say about my own condition.  Dr. Bloom is kind, funny, sweet and caring about me as a person... a very important aspect of his practice.  He has called me at home to follow up on how I am feeling and given me test results on the weekend when he knows I am anxiously waiting.  I am impressed with his integrity, skill, professionalism and devotion.  I am continually grateful for his trustworthiness, attentiveness and approachability.  His office is run efficiently, and his staff is kind and responsive.  It has been easy for me to get answers to questions and concerns, and it is never a problem to get an appointment when needed.  I am very grateful to have been recommended to Dr. Bloom those years ago and  after 10 years in his excellent care, I agree that he is "brilliant and caring."

Dr. Bloom has been my doctor for about 20 yrs. I trust him implicitly with my health. He has kept me alive and kicking through these years despite my not going on a diet, not exercising and generally not taking the best care of myself. Of course, he let's me know I should do better, but I still am alive. One thing in particular is that during my check-ups I never feel rushed. He takes the time needed and all exams are thorough. And yes, I would recommend him to anyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bloom's for approximately 17 years, as are my husband, my son and his wife. I have been in good health, generally but I have had some issues to be concerned about and Dr. Bloom has been very active in addressing those with regular  examinations and referrals to local specialists.   I think it might be natural for females to be less comfortable with a male physician  than with a female but in this case I do not feel reticent or uncomfortable in the least. I am certain that Dr. Bloom has made this a goal with me and that is comforting.  . In special cases, such as travel to Third World country, Dr. Bloom and his staff have gone out of their way to see that we are Medically prepared with shots and immunizations.  I have had enough experience with medical care to understand how fortunate I and my family are to have Dr. Jeff Bloom as our primary physician and a doctor who feels more like a friend.

Dr Bloom is a good person, and I like him very much, and I say this after 20 years of him being my primary care Doctor. Over the past 20 years I have learned that he is extremely intelligent and is always up to date on the latest medical up dates and research. I am a retired Master Fitness instructor and in talking with Dr Bloom, I know that he is very knowledgeable in muscle,  and exercise physiology. He sets an good example as a very healthy person, and that is important to me. With me, he is always very thorough in examining me and that makes me feel safe.His nurse, and all the ladies in his office are always very nice to me. I always look forward to seeing them.
