Dr. Oldenburg if very thorough, yet extremely friendly and down-to-earth. A doctor who you are comfortable to talk with and ask questions and expect and get honest answers. I highly recommend him!!

Dear Doctor's office, medical lab, testing facility, pharmacy, retail store, online store, or restaurant; We appreciate your efforts to improve your services. However, we receive approximately 4 or 5 surveys a week and don't have the time to fill out endless surveys. Please be assured that we a happy with your services, or you would hear from us. Terrible experience left with bad eyes. No treatment plan ever. I wouldn't recommend any of these so called drs.

Dr Oldenburg has taken care of my eyes for at least 10 years, had cataract surgery in 2016 ,can still read without glasses 3 years later

For many years I had only needed an Optometrist for the usual annual checkups plus monitoring my cataracts and eye pressure and both were acceptable. Three years ago I had an issue with my right eye that required a specialist and I was referred to Dr. Oldenburg who has been my Opthamologist since then. For the first two years my office visits were in Morro Bay and only needed to go to SLO for advanced testing. The new SLO office is a significant improvement over the old SLO office. The receptio

Three years ago I had an issue with my right eye that required a specialist and I was referred to Dr. Oldenburg who has been my Opthamologist since then. The reception staff is very efficient and help full. My wait times are minimal. The technicians communication with what they are doing and why are appreciated. Again, wait times are minimal.My many visits with Dr. Oldenburg have been comforting. By that I mean he has always communicated person to person, not an all knowing doctor talking down to an unknowing dummy. He explains in as much detail as necessary what my various results are, what they mean, and what the various actions may or may not mean for now or in the future. We've changed my eye pressure drops and monitor results. He recently reviewed a test results chart with me and showed the same chart from two years ago and explained what the differences were [minimal]. To summarize, I have high confidence in his capabilities and his concern for my well being.

My husband has wonderful vision as a result of his cataract surgery.

I have seen Dr. Oldenburg for two visits, both were on an emergent basis. I was having a problem that I needed emergent care and I was able to get in to see him and he was very caring. Once of my visits required a referral which his staff worked on promptly to get me to another doctor I needed to see. I felt cared for, important and that my best interests were always his priority.

I have seen a review being posted by a man saying such negative things. I have seen Dr. Oldenburg as well as two other doctors at Pacific Eye and have always been well taken care of. Both my children see doctors at Pacific Eye and I refer everyone I know to Pacific Eye. Thank you doctors for taking such wonderful care of me and my family!
