List of Margaret Greenough's Reviews
Dr. Greenough is a wonderful physician. Highly recommend coming to her for care.
My wife made an appointment to be seen and was turned away today by the staff. The office manager told my wife who was in great distress " that's what Urgent care is for" then she turned her back on my wife and walked away. Due to a clerical error or shear incompetence my wife has been turned away without compassion and treated with no respect whatsoever. The feeling of frustration, helplessness, and abandonment is overwhelming.
Dr. Greenough continues to impress me with her thoroughness and proactive nature. She is always prepared relative to my chart and concerned about my daily health and not just the specific issue/s that I may be experiencing. She is not afraid to assist with a referral or to prescribe additional diagnostic mechanisms to get to the root of the problem. She is exceptionally easy to talk to and share my concerns with. I am extremely confident in her abilities and I trust her and her judgment immensely.
Dr Greenough is one of the best physicians I have had. She identified a precancerous growth on my arm that was missed by a dermatologist. I was told by a different dermatologist that I was allergic to the sun, but Dr Greenough gave me medicine that allows me to now enjoy the outdoors with no issues. She's a very pleasant person and she really cares about her patients and she knows what she is doing.
I have been fortunate enough to be a patient of Dr. Greenough’s for about five years. Thankfully she is young enough that she will outlive me, meaning she will be my primary physician until I no longer need care! She is very well-educated and trained, smart, kind, and a great listener – qualities not all providers have these days. And the P.A. in her practice, Jessica Rogers, PA-C, has the same qualities. We SLO residents are lucky to have such a team to care for us.
the staff is the worst, if you have an aging parent you will be waiting for a week + for any requests for labs. They want you to bring them in to office during a pandemic. Find other office!
If you are healthy this is a good office. If you have a chronic illness find another Doctor! They have a difficult time returning phone calls and refilling prescriptions. Med refills usually takes about a week+, they insist that it only takes 24 hours. This gets old really fast after the first few months. The staff are nice but they don’t communicate with each other or you. I found a new doctor today and it feels great. My old doctor retired and I was directly assigned this doctor.
Dr. Greenough is very thorough, competent, and provided excellent follow-up.. Caught something my internist at UCLA missed. Staff is helpful as well.
Took tests, blood and urine and no followup, was in dire condition and never referred, wanted me to keep coming back when they weren't qualified and did not refer to a specialist. Not a caring environment and not communicative.
If I could I would give Dr. Greenough a -1. She doesn't have a clue what she is doing. My friend was sent out of her office with a blood pressure of 190/210. She just said hmmm that's high and let her go home. A couple months later my friend had a stent put in. She doesn't listen to you at all. There is never anyone in her office but it takes months to get in to see her, then she's with you maybe 3 minutes. I would love to know how they code for insurance.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
