List of Mark C Bocchicchio's Reviews
I received very good care from Dr Bocchicchio. He was caring and interested in how I was feeling. He was good about explaining everything along on the way to my procedure and made sure any questions I had were answered. The office personnel in SLO are very nice. A few times I had to wait a while to be seen by the doctor, but I've experienced worse at other medical offices.
It took my husband a month in a half to finally get his angioplasty. He was suffering with symptoms that he was having a hard time breathing and sleeping. He was tired all the time. Also he was coughing up some blood once in awhile. We were so happy the day finally came to get his stent. That didn't happen because Dr. Bocchicchio said that his artery was too clogged. But his dye tests that he got said it could be done. I think he is not a knowledgeable surgeon as he should be. My husband thinks he's lazy or quit early because of the next patient scheduled. We are very upset because we were sent home, and he still has the symptoms. If he dies, it's going to be on Dr. Bocchicchio's hands. Now it's going to be a month or so before he can get any help again. 😡 I do not recommend Dr. Mark C. Bocchicchio, MD as a surgeon. It took my husband a month in a half to finally get his angioplasty. A very good Interventional Cardiologist. Very passionate about his work. You want him on your side in matters concerning your heart. For those who know the art and science behind it all, he has his patients best interests in mind...always.
Had a stress test and echocardiogram with this doctor. At the end of test he told me I had no blocked arteries but a moderately leaky aortic valve. When I asked him if this was a problem he said “not at this time”. No further discussion on it!He also said my blood pressure was 190/90 and I should be on blood pressure medicine. When I asked him if I could lower it with diet and exercise he said “in my experience that would not be possible”. Cut out alcohol, salt, put myself on a cardiac diet, started walking 6 miles daily, and dropped my weight from 174 to 163 with a goal of 155. ALL WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF MY STRESS TEST. Today’s blood pressure readings: Left arm 116/73. Right arm 107/66.Had a stress test and echocardiogram with this doctor. Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
