Seem to be there to collect money from your insurance without providing any real service. Waited 6 months for new patient appointment. Was called two days prior to appointment and told it was rescheduled without consulting me as to what dates would work. When I finally saw Dr Silver it was for less than five minutes. He seemed totally disinterested. Made no inquiries regarding my health even though I indicated that I was recovering from a serious brain injury on the medical history form that I completed. As he was leaving he said that they normally do a physical exam but were too busy and said the next appointment was a year out. After he left the room I was in total disbelief as to what just happened and what I waited 6 months for. I don't know if it was Dr Silver's lack of interest or it was Tenet Health's system of sacrificing service for profits. Needless to say, I will never again waste my time or money using Dr Silver or any family practice managed by Tenet Health.

I chose Dr .Silver because he is a D.O. and I have complicated health issues. However every time I see him he rushes thru the appointment and blows off my needs, even those that are life threatening. He has no business being a Dr. Unfortunately my parents have had the same issue with him. We are all on to greener pastures now. Take my honest and sincere advice and see any dr but this slime ball!

Rushed through the quickest doctor visit I have ever had. He just walked out an I had to ask the nurse to go bring him back. He was unthorough and dismissive, I felt unheard and like I was in uncapable hands. Such a disappointment and honestly a very scary reflection of health these days.

I scheduled this appointment over 5 months ago for my senior parents who have moved from up north to SLO, I requested their medical documents to be released to this office over months ago and got a day off at work and was ready to be seen next week, I received a phone call last minute from a very cold and insensitive receptionist (Jasmine) who just cancelled the appointment and said the provider is no longer with us and we cannot reschedule this visit with any other provider. I do not understand what type of healthcare system is this that cancels appointments without any further consideration. I am very disappointed with this office, my parents are out of refills and their medical tests needs to be reviewed by a physician.

It felt like a very rushed visit. No good recommendations for a good diet change or specific exercises to help my higher cholesterol. It doesn’t feel like Dr. Silvers heart was really in it. Maybe were just not a good fit.
