I searched for about a year for a doctor to do my Cataracts taking a personal polI… talked to lots and lots of people. They had either had their cataracts done in the area or knew of someone who had. In the end, Everyone I spoke with that had gone to Dr. Higginbotham spoke highly of his expertise / care and were extremely happy with their results. Not true of all Doctors people talked about! ...

Dr. Higginbotham is an affable gentleman who has a reputation as one of the finest eye surgeons on the Central Coast. Upon my optometrist"s recommendation, I made an appointment and it was confirmed that I had cataracts needing removal. Pre-op went smoothly. I was under sedation but awake for the operation which was fairly brief and completely painless. The post-op has gone smoothly as well, no surprises, though I carefully follow the post-op regimen. The best thing of course is being able to see . Utterly stunning to see the world in it's color and detail again. Thank you Dr. Higginbotham. Jim Thurman
